Questions & Answers

If your battery is getting low, does your Tile Pro send you a warning?

Not at all. As long as you do not check them often, you will only discover they are low when the app tells you your item has not been checked in for a few days. It's one of the things that makes them difficult. Using the app to locate something that you have lost will be useful if you begin to misplace something If the batteries are dead, you will receive a message. I just bought a new set of keys and key fob for my car because the battery died and I hadn't realized it until now. I paid for the "premium" version to see my tracking history and it looks like the battery has been dead for more than Having a warning that there was a low battery before then would have been much appreciated. After I discovered that four of my other tiles had dead batteries, I had to replace them all personally even though I had paid for the premium service. Therefore, if you are not checking the battery every day, you are My last purchase was eight tiles, six pro and six regular, and only half of the batteries lasted the annual period. In the case of a high value item like car keys, I would replace them every six months.

What is the best way to identify the location of the septic tank in a home using the tile?

I thought that was a really interesting question, and that's definitely an uncommon I can understand how it may be difficult to locate the septic tank on your property. The Bluetooth connection and the water resistance could be affected by a few variables. As the TLE Pro 2020 just has water resistance, there is the possibility that it will absorb liquid. In the event that you were trying to track it using Tile, the best option is the Tile Sticker, since it is waterproof and is of a good size. Here is a link where you can find out more information on Sticker Here's the link Please visit tileteam.com. It's called Zendesk. Please visit https//www.hc-online.com/hc/en The Tile technology can track the location of personal items accurately, but it was not specifically designed for the identification of deep underground septic tanks. Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience. I wish you all the best, DF

I'm disappointed with the outcome It Works Sometimes, but Not All the Time
3/5

The update posted on Oct 29 is definitely not consistent. When I tried to find my keys after a vacation, I couldn't locate them. As it turns out, they were right under my purse, which I was holding in my hand. That app, which had been running in the background, said that I had been out of range when I opened it to check for my keys. This thing was only a few inches away from me, so I was certainly not out of range. My lips were sealed as I scrambled to find my keys in a zippered compartment upon discovering I had thrown them in the trash. I never heard them ring! This is not even on my keys, and I'm wondering why I have it. Waste of time and money! *I was eager to find our keys and other items with the Tiles, and the app provided a great way to accomplish that. I downloaded the app to my iPhone and found the set up to be straightforward, and found the app to be quite easy to use. Later I went to the app to find the keys that were right beside me, and it said that they weren't within range. I left it sit for a moment and went to the app to find them, but it said they weren't accessible. It's disturbing, I see. It just randomly started working again after I looked around the app for awhile. This makes no sense to me, since I have no trouble with anything else that connects via Bluetooth. My iPad tries to find my phone but fails to do so. I downloaded the app to find out which phone it finds - and I get an unexpected error message when I try to call. When I double-pressed the tile button, I assumed it would send the same tone to my phone as if I double-pressed The SMS seemed to indicate it was trying to contact my phone, but since I never gave my phone number to it, I am not sure how it would do so. I ended up deleting the app from my iPad for the sake of not confusing it with two copies of the app. Also, your PC can be linked via a link that is sent to it, but that didn't work. The place where I can enter my phone number is not there. have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and the find my phone function just does not work except when I push the tile button twice on the actual tile.

That brings me to my second My phone did not ring when I double-pressed the tile's button while sitting here. My phone was trying to find the app, but it could not find it. I checked the app and it was running in the background, but another tone seemed to indicate that it couldn't locate I was able to open the app and try again after relaunching it. In the event that I actually lose something, it doesn't look like this will be my lifeline. I find it works half the time, and it doesn't the other half. I also saw in one place that I had two tiles within my account, but I have only set up one of them, so I don't know why that shows up. Besides with the phone and keys I had never set up the other tile yet because I plan to set it up with my husband's phone and keys. The tiles probably already know that they have come from the same box because they both know they come from the same place. I would like to add one more It is odd that every time I press a button in the app, I am urged to upgrade to Tile Premium? For the price of these, I don't know why they work through my Bluetooth. Normally, I'd be able to understand if the tiles were like $5 each, but I think that these new ones cost at least $50 for two. It is not reasonable to ask me every time I turn to advertise Tile Premium at that price. I am not sure what the range is. According to the article, you can go up to 400 feet. In the end, I put the keys in the middle of my house, walked to my mailbox by the street, and found that it couldn't read the tile. Considering the size of my lot is about 180 feet deep and our backyard extends almost to our front door, I would estimate that I was about 80 feet tall A 90 foot radius. This might not be a problem if you keep your keys in an open area without any It may not apply if you are out in an open field, so I would not assume it does. These disappoint me a lot. The price tag on these is definitely not worth it. It seems like these are not reliable for something that is designed to assist in finding something lost, which is a stressful situation. The only way I will know is if I lose my keys, if it says they are out of range because they really are out of range, or if the device has just malfunctioned. It was nice to read my review. Thank you. Becky.

The product is defective + Tile advertises that the battery can be replaced
3/5

Having purchased this set of Tiles for the second time, this is my second purchase. My first set worked until the battery died. I replaced the battery and they are no longer working. The second set of these was ordered with the hope that they would also In the first case, it worked, but not in the second.

The chances of you being disappointed are high
3/5

Tile piqued my interest - I was eager to try it out Its only limitation is that it can only communicate using Bluetooth with devices that bring up the Tile app. I was disappointed when I first got my hands on one and saw how it actually works. As Tile doesn't have the capability to connect via wifi to the internet, it cannot connect directly to the internet. This means that if you leave it away from your phone, it won't be able to Basically, you have to remember where you left it and then go to the place and walk close enough to the Tile for it to connect via Bluetooth. The process differs greatly from a program like "find my phone", which allows you to communicate with your phone remotely. A limited number of applications are possible.

While my keys are still fine, I have lost my Tile
3/5

I bought a Tile Pro and attached it to my new set of keys after my old keys vanished last week. When I used my smartphone to activate it, it was a little inconsistent within my apartment, but I trusted that it would get the job done in the event my keys were ever stolen. It does not appear to be attached to my keychain two days later when I wake up. I saw it last night near the vicinity of my last outing. According to the app, it was last seen 8 hours ago. The tile was set to "lost", and I searched for its last known location but did not find it. Because I ride a bicycle, I figure if it fell off on the road, it would probably be destroyed by traffic. The wall tile came loose, but I'm not sure how it happened. There are no other keys missing from my keyring, and the rest of it is intact. I may be able to find it and figure it out if it turns up. Although I haven't bought one of these in a while, I do not plan on it again. Considering the cost, I could make several sets of spare keys to stow away in my bag and in my In retrospect, I feel an ounce of foolish for not having done so rather than purchasing a Tile from the beginning. In general, I would strongly suggest that you preemptively copy your keys as it is cheap and presents a sure-fire way to protect your system While purchasing a Tile won't guarantee you'll find your keys, it will at least give you a chance. The only time a bluetooth tracker makes sense is if your keys can't easily be copied.

This is amazing
5/5

I mean, Tiles are the choice of Bluetooth trackers, but I have to calm myself down, and wait until UWB tiles are available since they are, in my opinion, the only It's a fact that Apple has released their U1 chips, and I believe everyone else is working hard to build U1-compatible products. By using UWB tiles, users are able to specify where each tile is as well as their exact location within their home. They do not have to rely only on audio to find their places. I can't wait to see what happens. It's difficult for me to say what to do if Tiles don't work on it.

A scratch that's easy to do
5/5

It's a cool product, but there are two issues I would like to draw your attention to. 1) it is very easy to scratch in comparison to the previous version. There's a lot of wear and tear on it. The photo is at the bottom of the post (I wish it were more matt or less likely 1) The album isn't more loud than the previous one. My tile pro just has a different name but is the same for me.

A tile is mixed up with another tile
3/5

After setting up both Tiles and making sure the two worked properly, I tried them again 2 minutes later. My phone rang when my wife's Tile was triggered, and her phone rang when mine was triggered. I repeated this process for the rest of the day but had more luck. In light of the fact that there is no way to go back and start over completely, the Tiles have been returned. My assumption is that I did something wrong since other people seem to be The $60 will be saved to make sure I can find things when I lose them like I do every year.
