All I bought it for was to use it The double-headed arrow If you open SmartThings, then you'll be able to click the SmartTag. When your phone has rebooted (like mine does a couple of times a week automatically), the tag does not work, it just sits there for a long time beeping. In the event I have misplaced my phone and SmartThings has not been opened, I'm screwed. In my understanding, SmartThings does not offer the ability to always run in the background, even when the device is rebooted. The bottom line is that, unless you're disciplined enough to open SmartThings every time you reboot your phone, you shouldn't use this gizmo for the reasons outlined above.

I find it to be quite useful. My concern is that you need a working Samsung device in order to make use of them. Do you have another brand of phone I would like? There was a problem with your application. You break your phone, and the only other one you have is not a There was a problem with your application. Perhaps I can only buy one product at a time. But I do enjoy the amount of stuff it can do. Due to the fact that it is a system app, it should be able to perform some functions that, for example, Tile tracker cannot. you don't need to have Bluetooth "enabled" since SmartThings acts as a system app so that can be circumvented. The way you put it is nice. In fact, I liked that, as you could still track your phone without having to worry about the high battery drain. E. g. , the Tile tracker has a high battery drain. Both the Tile tracker and this one have a problem with usage that is big enough for me to give them three stars. If you want the same function, this tag is only for Samsung devices. Compare that to the Tile, which has a higher battery cost for the same purpose. In spite of however, because of the very low battery cost of the Samsung Tag compared to the Tile, the Samsung Tag is the only one that I can recommend. However, the Samsung Tag is the only one that requires an a specific phone type. What a crazy thing. While I do like Samsung's ability to update its location when it is outside of the device's range, I dislike how it does the same by other phones. There may be other things that can be accomplished through the phones to connect to the tag that I haven't looked into yet. *But
It's not cool to require a Samsung device for everything it does. Making an app that's more compatible with a few fewer updates may prove more beneficial to the company. They could really step up their game if this were implemented. Due to the way things are, they have limited their market, but at the same time have dissatisfied At best, we can give it three stars.

All of the SmartTag+'s features are true to its description. There is another important use I discovered as well. Currently at the bottom of the purse of my wife is a tag. I have programed my purse to send a text alert with a push of a button in case it is ever stolen anywhere in the world. Whenever she needs help in any way, I will get a text from her saying When I tap her tag icon on my phone, I will know where she is and I can go to her right away.

I bought one, but could not get it to work with my new Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, it was saying it had issues with bluetooth identification. There was little useful information on the paperwork that came with this tag. As I researched the issue on the web, I found that many other people had the exact same problem, but no one had any luck in getting any help from Samsung support. This seems to be an increasing trend with Samsung these days, that they sell products without much in the way of support. According to my gut, the real problem is Samsung labeled the tags destined for another country that has incompatible frequencies and settings and sent them to the US by mistake. But considering Samsung's lack of support, I'm not even going to try to find out the answers. I am returning it. It is done.

Two of these were delivered to me. In my primary key file, I keep one and in my secondary file, I keep the other. The key finder on my phone has helped me find my keys three times in the last six weeks or so since I have In addition to my house key, I keep my other keys on my backpack so I can keep track of them. Then I'll get another one to attach to my jacket because I lose that in the house all the time too. This is my favorite thing in the world. will replace the battery once a year when I change the battery in my car fobs, so I cannot comment on how well the battery lasts. Here's the latest I believe I can go two years on a single battery if I am aware of the battery level on the phone. My plan is to replace annual with a new one. They are still too good to be overlooked. In addition to using the tag on my keys to find my phone, I have also used the tag on my keys to find my keys several times.

I have already cleared the cache and the The device simply becomes stuck at 39% and will not connect. There is no solution I have found after searching up all possible solutions. In addition to multiple resets, I have already cleared my data on my phone. The only thing that can help me now is time. After I've left it alone for a period of time, I will update.
