The case is plastic and wraps around the device. There is a plastic case for it. A magnetic clasp is wrapped around the cover, and then the cover goes on top.

What aspect of the clasp is magnetic? Is there one magnet on each side or both?

It is magnetic both inside and out. Paper clips and stuff like that will be picked up by the clasp.

How detachable is the part where the phone is stored?

The flaps can be easily removed if you need them, but it isn't as easy as popping them off.

A credit card case holds a driver's license, a driver's license photo, and an The clasp is magnetic. Rather than a wallet, I use it to carry cash. I wish it would hold more but still have a clasp to close it. Whatever the case may be, I recommend it. In my opinion, these cases last between 6 and 8 weeks There is no big investment here, as it is only for 12 months.
