In the past, OtterBox cases were compatible with Qi wireless charging, including previous Apple devices. We expect the Commuter Series to support this great feature for the new iPhone 11 as well, and we're testing it now that it's out.

Both the OtterBox Viva Series and the OtterBox Commuter Series for the iPhone 11 are slim, two-piece cases. piece cases with silicone slipcovers on the inside and polycarbonate plastic shells on the outside. Both provide equal protection and are equipped with the newly-released For confident handling, there is an integrated grip on the back. The Viva Series was created as a one-of-a-kind item for one of our other retail partners, and it is currently unavailable on Amazon.

My camera lens fractured when the phone was dropped while properly installed in this otter box, and I was completely surprised. My iPhone 6 was protected for four years by my previous otter box. I even survived a car accident that resulted in a rollover. The failure of this new otter box has left me speechless.
If you've owned other Otterboxes, you'll notice that this one isn't quite as "premium" as others. This item's two-part construction will combine with your phone to give it a vaguely solid feel, but removing both parts from the box reveals that it's nothing more than a shockingly thin piece of plastic and some hardened rubber. I'm sure Otterbox's engineers have a lot more experience than I do as a guy writing a product review, but this product does not inspire confidence in me.
Otter Box is the only brand I've ever purchased. The outer box has broken for the second time in less than two months.
This isn't the same type of commuter case as with previous iPhone models. The case is extremely slick, and it no longer provides the grip and protection for which I purchased it. I'm going to have to spend more money on a different case after using it for a few weeks and nearly missing some drops due to the lack of grip. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please.
This isn't the Otterbox I used to know and love. This looks cheap, and the only "rubber" texture on the phone is on the sides to help you grip it and keep it from slipping through your fingers. It fits well, but the back is slick and made of plastic. At more than three times the price, this case feels like a $10 case, and I'm concerned that it won't protect my phone if I drop it from any height.
Worst otterbox ever, not sturdy at all, and didn't even keep my phone safe and secure because it was all stretched out.
The product arrived with debris all over it (including inside the packaging!). To remove all of the dirt and chips from the product, I had to thoroughly clean the case and box. br>br>Very unappealing and unprofessional.
This case does not give me confidence in its ability to protect my phone! The corners are not reinforced, the "second layer" (outer shell) does not fully cover the rubber portion as shown in my photos, and the drop points are exposed to impact. Just feel that rubber around the corner; you'd NEVER trust that thin film to protect your investment! This is the SECOND Otter brand I've purchased to protect my iPhone 11 in the last FIVE days, and it's time to move on.
