Questions & Answers
Yes, I'm still using one of my previous six. The camera's lens cutout covers the bottom raised portion of the lens on the 7, but this has no effect on pictures.
Yes! I've had it for a short time (Christmas), but it's held up well. My four-year-old is constantly dropping my phone, but neither the phone nor the case has been damaged! It is something I strongly suggest.
Is it possible to get your money back from Amazon?
Yes, this is possible. With the case, the pop socket works well.

So it's a pain to put on, but that's to be expected given that keeping it snug in the case protects it. THE iPHONE 7 WILL FIT IN IT. I've seen a lot of iPhone 8 reviews, which is great, but I wanted to let my iPhone 7 friends know that this will work for them as well. Because the case's edges are raised and padded with rubber (? ), it doesn't come with a screen protector of any kind. ) to protect the phone from shattering by absorbing shock. To avoid scratches, get a separate screen protector. I prefer slim cases to bulky ones, so this one is ideal. I can easily fit this half-way into my pockets (only half-way because women only have so many pockets). marketed jeans are dreadful). It also fits into my phone with ease. The charge port / headphone port is covered by a movable rubber piece, but the speakers are not covered at all. br>br>I use a holder armband that is SUPER nice when I work out. br>br> The camera hole is large and does not obstruct picture taking; however, the small side switch for turning sound on and off is not covered. br>br>After a month or two, if I remember, I'll try to update this review. I would strongly suggest it right now.
PROS- br> It goes without saying that durability is a must. This thing is more than capable of dealing with everyday drops. br> Ports, speakers, and/or camera are not obscured by cutouts. br> Tight fit, as is the case with many 2-inch devices. designs in pieces br> Can accommodate the additional depth (albeit tightly) added by using the magnetic plate from the.
This is my third OtterBox Commuter case (iPhone 5c and SE original) that I've purchased for my new iPhone SE (2nd Gen). This is the slickest looking Commuter case I've ever seen, it fits perfectly, and it's exactly what I expected from a Commuter case, EXCEPT the Apple logo on the back doesn't line up! (Please see the image attached. ) ) It appears to me that OtterBox's marketing for this case (which also fits the iPhone 7) has changed recently. 8 (due to the fact that the New SE uses the same frame), without actually testing it on the SE. Sure, it's just a cosmetic issue, but at this price, it's worth it. and since OtterBox touts this as the proper Commuter case for the New SE - I'd expect it to align or at the very least be informed. As I began this review, the case appears to be fantastic, as thin as possible while remaining durable, and it is my current favorite Commuter case - The only flaw is that the logo does not line up properly. The case has been described as "slippery" by some. This is exactly what a Commuter Case is, so I don't think it's a problem. Inside is a rubbery case that is protected by a hard plastic case. Sure, the hard plastic is slick, but the inside rubber case is ideal for gripping and is visible on the outside (without the hard case) in all the right places. As a result, I don't think this is a slippery situation for a Commuter Case. Other reviews expressed dissatisfaction with the plastic cover that covers the port; I don't have a cover on my phone because it collects too much dust in the port, causing it to stop charging, which is why I want the port cover. If you don't want the cover, you can easily cut it off, but I think it's one of the most important features of the Commuter Case, and the cover on this case is very well done. If it weren't for the misalignment of the logo on the back, I would have given this review five stars. I realize it's only cosmetic, but the advertising on Amazon made it seem like this case was designed for the SE, which I don't believe is the case. Although it functions, it was clearly not designed for the SE (2nd Gen). I'm hoping OtterBox will contact me to resolve this, and if they do, I'll upgrade my review if they send me a replacement with the proper logo placement. Again, I believe the OtterBox Commuter case is the best, but this case was clearly not designed for the new iPhone SE (Gen 2), as the advertisement claimed; it works, but it wasn't designed for it, and the advertisement was misleading.
It looks and feels tough, but it only lasted me about a year. My phone was nowhere to be found. I've bought cheaper brands from Amazon before for around $6 that protected my phone for longer than this, and I've bought cheaper brands from Amazon before for around $6 that protected my phone for longer than this. Furthermore, Otterbox claims to offer a one-year warranty, but shipping and handling will set you back $6. When claiming warranty for other phone accessories, I've never had to do anything like this. I'll just spend the $6 on a new case. Otterbox is merely a brand name that fails to deliver on its promises. Don't be taken in by the pretense. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> To give this a second chance, I paid the $6 warranty shipping fee. Wow, that was a huge blunder. My new case has since broken in just a few months, despite the fact that I haven't dropped my phone. I'm never going to buy another Otterbox product.
This is a fantastic situation. A screen protector was also applied separately. It's slim and well-fitting. It's not as bulky as the OtterBox Defender that I've used on previous phones, and you definitely get better screen clarity if you apply a screen protector directly versus the Defender's integrated one. I dropped my iPhone 8 (from about 3 feet) on a hard surface and it was fine. The trade-off is that it is unlikely to provide the same level of protection if it is dropped on its face on a non-metallic surface. Because the Defender has more prominent raised edges on the front than this model, it needs to be placed on a flat surface (a rock, for example).
The screen on my phone shattered just a month after I put it on. It landed just three feet from the couch's side. br>br>I would not recommend this case, and I will not buy anything from Otterbox in the future.
