Quad Lock Sports Armband

On paper, this armband appears to be fantastic, but in practice, it is a disaster. The main issue is that it attaches to your phone in such a way that it hovers almost an inch above your arm. Your phone starts jumping and bouncing all over the place the moment you start running, slapping your arm with each step. Also, connecting and disconnecting the phone from the quad lock system is quite difficult. It essentially necessitates the use of two hands, which is impossible with the armband on. Finally, the case on your phone with the Quadlock receiver in it is incredibly thick on the back, requiring you to switch cases every time you finish working out.

So, I purchased this in December of 2015 and was initially pleased with the product. This happened after I used it for a while this spring. As you can see by the ripples in the edges, the edges started to come off. The quality of the product is poor and could be improved. There is no guarantee of anything.

" As a result, I would give this product 5 stars if I could. It's great to have such quick and easy access to my phone when I need to change a song, check a new text, take a "runfie," or switch episodes on a podcast, and it locks my phone into place so I never have to worry about it falling out of the "lock" and breaking on the ground. I use it on every single run (20 miles/week), and it's great to have such quick and easy access to my phone when I need to change a song, check a new text But I've only had this armband since March 2017 (roughly). The velcro is already losing its "stickiness" after only 5 months. The velcro on my armband sometimes unlatches while I'm running, and I have to catch it before it falls off. My arm doesn't grow or shrink, so it's been expected to "stick" and "unstick" in the same spot for the past five months, and it's now losing effectiveness. I've had this issue with almost every armband I've ever owned, but never at such a rapid pace. I'll just have to replace my armbands every 6 to 8 months or so. I like this product, so it's worth it, but it's pricey, and I don't like having to replace them so frequently.

The armband, on the other hand, is poorly constructed, resulting in a one-star rating. When I went to loosen the strap when I first got it, the blue tab came apart. It's all starting to fall apart now, with the various layers coming undone. I won't be buying anything else in the future.

This armband has been on my wish list for years, ever since I first heard about it. Aside from the fact that the case is slim and protects my phone at all times, I am a huge fan of this product. I enjoy being able to check my phone, change my music, and then return to my workout with a single click. I've used it for a number of marathons and long runs. It's comfortable, and the armband adjusts to fit my small arm, so my phone doesn't bounce around or slide all over the place. I feel like I got my money's worth, and I'll keep buying the set whenever I get a new phone.

When the product works, I love it and couldn't imagine life without it. In addition to the phone case and the rain cover, I have Quad Lock holders for my car, two bikes, and an armband. I like that I can take the phone out of the armband without having to take off the band. The velcro attachment will only last for about 4 months of active use - br>br>There is only one drawback: My first one has begun to wear out, so I've just placed an order for a replacement. So, regardless of how convenient this product is, it costs $120 per year, which is a lot for a sports armband. I wish they would make one with only the elastic bands and an adjustable clasp like e. Goggles for swimming. Because you don't have to take it off until the end of your workout, the added difficulty in sliding the band on shouldn't be too much of a problem. So, while I like the product, I can't really recommend it unless the price is within your budget.

ever. Quad Lock is a business that has come up with a brilliant concept. All of your platforms can be mounted using the same system. It's nothing short of amazing. br>br>I've been wearing Quad Lock's armband for a few months (twice a day, 5-minute workouts). 6 days a week) to participate in any of my general physical activities. I wear it to the gym and on runs; I have the QL bike mount, so I don't need it. Needless to say, I am a huge fan of this company and the products they provide. So, why are there only four stars out of five? It's the velcro that's causing the problem. br>br> The band is great and fits even larger arms, but the velcro wears out over time. You can make some adjustments so the velcro fits on different parts of the band, but it just wears out over time. I hate having to spend thirty dollars every time I need to replace the armband, but it's still worth it because of the elegant nature of the product. br>br>If QL addresses the velcro issues in a future version of this product, it will easily achieve a 5/5 rating. I currently own and use three different Quad Lock mounts (armband, bike mount, and car mount), all of which I think are fantastic. The best part is that if you don't like their cases, you're not obligated to use them-- You could buy a universal adapter (which is what I did). It's in my Lifeproof case now). This gives you peace of mind when changing phones because you won't have to buy a new mount every time! All you need is a new universal adapter, which is a lot less expensive than having to replace a lot of different parts.
