There's something wrong with this cable! When I put it into my iPhone ate plus to charge, I see the charging function on and off again and again. The reason is a mystery to me! This has never happened to me with a legitimate Apple product. This makes me wonder if it really is an Apple product. Watch out!.
In the past 2 weeks, I've upgraded to an iPad Pro and iPhone 8 Plus. Since both of these devices are capable of fast charging, I decided to upgrade the software. To be able to do so, you have to purchase proprietary accessories, but quite honestly, this is about the only way you can make your phone charge as quickly as Rather than buying this cable from a separate seller on this website, I purchased it directly from Amazon. This cable appears to be a genuine Apple product. It appears that the font on the packaging is correct and everything on the labels and paper inserts looks authentic. Initially I didn't detect any printed print on the cable, but upon closer examination with a flashlight I did detect the signature Apple script, which is very small and hard to see. There is a distance of about 7 inches between the USB C end and the AV end. Additionally, these cables are slightly thicker, probably in order to increase the durability of these cables and their ability to handle higher voltages. Although I didn't do it well on the charger, I used a 45W 3rd party accessory that had My phone does not receive fast charging when I plug the lightning cable into my device first, and then into the wall afterwards. I am not sure if this is by design, an iOS glitch, or maybe just an issue with my charger that an Apple one wouldn't exhibit. Therefore, it is a shame that fast charging an iPad Pro/new iPhone is such an expensive and confusing endeavor simply because Apple left out the necessary components and leaves you to try and come up with a cheap alternative or pay the high price to get their fast charging setup. In either case, this is still an essential cable, and only the charger is optional because it serves as an input An Apple product will be able to charge faster.
Face it, we live in a digital world. Most users won't be able to make use of the 1 meter cable that comes with the iPhone. The 2 meter cable is quite convenient for me since I like to use my phone quite often while it is charging. While I am reclining, I can sit comfortably and charge my phone. The fast charging cable is required if you want to charge your iPhone as fast as possible. Apple iPhones require a Lightning to USB type C cable to charge at fast speeds. Of course, there are off brand products out there as well, I just prefer Be sure that the off-brand product you choose for your Apple device is MFI certified if you choose to purchase it. In addition, if you are purchasing this cable, you will need a USB type C wall (or car) adapter of 18w. Apple's 18w USB C wall adapter was my choice this time as well. If I recall correctly, this works for fast charging all iPhones from 6s to the latest model. For my iPhone SE (2nd Gen), I use it. It is my hope that this review will be helpful, as with every review I write. Thanks for reading! . *B. I am not a huge fan of Apple products. My iPhone SE (2nd Gen) is the latest in a line of devices that includes the iPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy S7, iPhone 6s, Google Pixel 3 XL, and the iPhone SE. It is not my bias to say this. It is important for me to choose products based on what I can afford and what I need.
It has never been a point of pride for Apple® to have such durable accessories. A DAY passed after the 30-day period for THIS one Throughout Amazon's return period, it allows for a 30-day return policy. Sadly, I hadn't done what I hoped to do since I just bought a new Apple device. For a trip, I needed the 2M cord As my timeline was extended by delivery from the Apple Store, I was unable to meet my objectives. As a result, I have lost the money. If Apple could change the cable in their store, they would have done so. I've had the SAME experience w/ the SAME Apple® BRAND accessory with Amazon on TWO or THREE previous occasions. My others were acquired in such a short period of time (which made it difficult for me to review them). It was too late to return like this item), so the event didn't register to me as a mass Apple® accessory failure. I assume that these items were Amazon's "seconds"/planned obsolete products.
I bought this to use with the new iPhones and iPads that come with such fast charging features. To make this happen, you will also need a higher-powered charging brick (30w). Obviously the wire is the typical Apple wire and I'm sure the connector will break with abuse like every other Apple wire does. Still, after market companies like amazon basic dont seem to have a whole lot of options for this wire yet. When I used it with my iPad, it did make a double sound that let me know that fast charging was on. That could have been from the brick, but I'm not sure. It does charge the iPad (12) comfortably. I am much much much faster now. ****I have read that fast charging may not be beneficial to battery longevity, so I won't use it on my new iPhone, but with my iPad, I know I can replace the battery if and when it fails.
It does its job, but it's a little pricey. In addition, it makes it possible for compatible devices to receive fast charging. must take care to get the right charger, so make sure you know what you need before you purchase. I like the fact that the cord is fairly stiff but it is still nice. Though it is quite a bit more expensive than similar cables, I chose it since it is made by Apple. Although there are probably cables that are more affordable and work just as well as this one, I'm happy with it. It was the length of the cord that convinced me to purchase this product.
I have not much to say about it, it's an Apple cable that is suitable for newer iOS devices that utilize USB-C Three factors to consider when it comes to power and speed. In fact, this cable is not only fast, but it can also be plugged into a high speed USB hub If you use USB3 power, the transfer rate to an iPhone or iPad is much higher than if you use USB2 power. When you are uploading pictures or other information to the device, this type of data transfer is very important. It counts quite a bit in fact. The only downside is the cardboard packaging had a distinct moldy scent. To get rid of the smell, I threw away the Apple box and wiped the cable down. Everything seems to be in order.
