There is a redarding rear camera, but it is a small camera that is attached to was not aware there would be a little square box instead of two identical cameras, as this was the first dash cam they had ever owned. This type of mirror camera has never worked for me. I have tried a few of them and never had satisfaction with the result. The HD 1080 resolution on this camera system is pleasing to me. The unit comes with a front view camera as well as a rear view camera, making setting it up very easy. As soon as you put it in reverse, it automatically switches to the backup camera. Just run a wire to the reverse light and connect it to the reverse light line. This camera features an interior cabin camera, which is one of the most interesting additions. Whether you're a rideshare driver or a teen driver, this app is great. Cameras here are really nice and clear. The bright summer sun does not wash them out. Video evidence is available if you need it, and it is a great value for the price. To ensure you have the correct SD card, choose the size you need from the list. It is nice to have the option of using GPS in the video playback so you have that extra info you may need. It's quite impressive to me how easy it is to set up and the quality so far. Earlier this year, we upgraded our dash cameras to newer models, and these are by far superior to their older predecessors.
The camera itself is excellent, and the rear view camera adds great functionality. Although it is adequate, the screen itself could have been a bit bigger. It has a very high resolution and is high quality, with anti-aliasing and other features It is easy to use the shaking feature. Initially, the suction cup mount was not able to hold, but the tape mount is included, and I hope that will work The installation of the cameras on the Prius is not easy and did not work well. A lot of wires have to be tucked away and hidden, so the car has to be disabled. This would be more useful if there was a wireless version. The directions on how to install are not very clear. My only help came from a video that I searched on Google. For the rear-view mirror, there is a red wire To attach a rearview camera to the brake lights, I would need to disassemble the car, hide all the wires, and then install the camera. I am not a car savvy enough person to do this. It will either take money to hire someone to do the setting up or I will find volunteers willing to help me out. Since I do not have a SD Card, I was not able to test all the recording options, but after reading through the manual, I like the amount of recording options available. The feature I like most is that the camera can record no matter if the vehicle is on or off for 24 hours. As well as the motion detection feature, I enjoy it. You can use these options to find out who is responsible for whatever happened to your car while you were away.
I love this! It is easy to install, and the video is excellent. Dashcam that also serves as a backup camera is what you need. It is an incredible product both in terms of quality and value. Living in a metropolitan area with a lot of traffic is frustrating for me. The camera I was looking for is here. In case of an accident or altercation on the road, I will have video tape of it. There are, however, a few issues that it has. There is a weird flashing noise almost every time the front camera is turned on (unless it is No matter what I do, it won't stop. The included adhesive did not work well with my car's textured plastic, so I tried using it to attach the rear camera to the back of the car (in the opening between the top glass and the rear window), but it would not stay attached. It's just not sticking in this Houston heat, not sure if that's due to the heat or what, but I keep trying. I am currently using Gorilla Tape, however, I will still need to replace it when it eventually wears out It is important to press it every couple of days so I can make sure the back camera is not hanging. The smaller suction cup thing I thought would be for the rear camera was missing. There's no place for it in the camera, so I'm completely lost. It still does what I bought it for, but I have not been able to make it do what I need it to consistently. In the future I will continue to tweak it (when it isn't sweltering outside lol) and let you know if it helps. Generally speaking, the camera on the front is much better than the one on the rear, but the latter is also quite good. (While installing) I was able to take a couple of pictures, but they are of poor.
As I travel a lot, I got it for my car, it is easy to install, the video quality is clear, you do not need to be an expert to install it, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I would recommend this item because it has a reasonable price, it is well worth it.
The dash cam doubles as a backup camera monitor, and a backup camera is included with the dash cam. This backup camera has a red trigger wire that is supposed to connect to the reverse light, but it doesn't seem to be necessary unless you want the dash cam view automatically switched whenever the car is in While the backup view cannot be switched manually, it can be toggled by pressing a button on the dash cam (you'll have to stop recording to navigate to another view), and then start recording again after you find the right view for you. Power to the backup camera does not come from the red trigger wire, but rather from the cable that plugs into the dash camera. This means that both the dash cam and the backup camera are powered by the same This dash cam isn't the best in the world in terms of quality, color, or contrast, but it should be sufficient to record roadside incidents.
