On Amazon, there are such a large number of GPS units to pick from- Since I have a Garmin running watch and it's awesome, I went with the one with the highest rating, even though I felt more at ease with the Garmin unit. As I was driving 6 hours away, my Amazon package arrived just as we were about to leave for the day. It was just the right time. My fear was that it would take a long time to set up or that something would need to be done over wifi. I am really impressed by this GPS system. Being so cheap, I wasn't sure how it would turn out. I was pleasantly surprised by how cool it is, with its large easy to read screen and thin design. Has even a visor to keep the sun at bay so you don't lose any They can use it as a game device when GPS is not needed. There was a point at which I was impressed with this unit. I am delighted by all the features it offers that I had not considered in a GPS device. Using this mini tablet as a travel device would even be a good choice. This document contains the information you need in an easy-to-read format. This was the only bad thing about my unit. It had very little volume. I liked the levels of the "beeping" for the touch screen, and it could be switched from Soft to Loud via the menu. It was so quiet in the car that the volume was barely audible for directions. After a few attempts to change audio volume ( the car is not running at all ), no success was achieved. On the menu it had no effect on the level, but there was a place for it. This is not a deal breaker for me, as I liked the GPS enough to give it a good rating. It seems my device has a problem, seeing as I've seen it online. The 7" display is too small for my midsize car, and the 7" display is also awkward for an SUV or truck.
