Product Description

The AC8D 8 Inch Car Subwoofer Is Made Of Polypropylene, Which Is A Resilient And Durable Material That Can Offer Great Sound With The Advantage Of Long Lasting Subwoofers.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to mount these subwoofers outdoors and still get good sound? I'm looking for a few subs for my boat, which will be mounted on the engine hatch. ?

The short answer is yes, but the long answer is no. For starters, they aren't submarines, so corrosion is inevitable. second, they do not have the same level of stiffness as free-floating suspension. Because of the mechanical limitations of air/ib subs, power handling is greatly reduced, particularly at lower frequencies, and the use of a ssf and eq slope is recommended. Last but not least, any noise generated in the engine bay will be transmitted via the cone. For more output, it's better to build a wakeboard rack style enclosure and a smaller sub.

What is the true rms (return on investment)? I'd like to connect it to a Pioneer 1000w 300rms amplifier. ?

Each speaker produces 750 rms. Lanzar produces a 3000 watt amp with a 1500 rms output at 2 ohms. Four ohms are used in these speakers. That was the amplifier I was referring to. is 76 dollars. It makes a pleasant sound. It's on my tens, and it rips the crap out of them. Make sure you keep track of the break times. At first, they sound like nonsense. once you've gotten into it They're fantastic.

Is this part compatible with a 2002 Ford Explorer?

This should fit in your Explorer's standard 8" boxes.

How would two of these speakers sound if I wired them in parallel at 2 ohms and powered them separately with 1,300 watts?

Make sure you cross-wire your speakers and don't use the same app for both of them.

THE AUDIO WAS AMAZING
3/5

for about ten minutes Let's get this party started. ……. Dual 4 ohm woofers with 1500 watts of power each, bridged to 2 ohms. RMS power is 750 watts. Kenwood KAC 5001PS monoblock amplifier with 1000 watts RMS at 4 ohms and 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms, 300 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms. Gain level at 3/4 (75%) with less than 10% THD with less than 2010% THD with less than 2010% THD with less than 2010 The head unit volume was at 26 (about 60%) AND IT SMOKED THE WOOFER IN 10 MINUTES. It did, however, appear to be quite attractive. What can you expect from a woofer for less than $30? If you have the extra cash, it is sometimes worthwhile to do so.

Fits a 2002 Chevy Tahoe and sounds fantastic with the factory amplifier!   I bought this subwoofer for my non-powered 2002 Chevy Tahoe
5/5

System by Bose. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it fits without requiring any modifications to the factory box. The screws will require new holes to be drilled, but the basket will fit in the opening and the magnet will not bottom out in the small enclosure. I'm currently using the factory amplifier, and while it won't win any SPL competitions, it sounds clear and hits the lows exceptionally well. It's a very accurate subwoofer, and when you consider the price, it's downright fantastic. If you want to see how I installed it, I made a video on YouTube. It has the following title: 2000- Installing a subwoofer in a 2006 Tahoe. I've also included a photo, which is a little blurry. br>br>**Update** After a few months of use, I'm still in love with this subwoofer! It now sounds even better than when I first put it in. As it got closer, it seemed to warm up a little. I've also included a video that shows how I installed the system in my 2002 Chevy Tahoe. I hope you find it useful. You get what you pay for, but it appears to be adequate
3/5

So, first and foremost, I have a $350 Rockford Fosgate 800a2 amp driving a $35 woofer, and yes, it sounds like a steel drum. But this isn't a long-term setup; I wired this woofer in both parallel and series, and based on the performance I got from it in series, I'm guessing each coil is 1800 watts each, and there are two of them, so in series it should be able to handle at least 3600 watts at peak. I have a two-channel amp with 800 watts each, bridged to get 1600 watts plus the punch frequency, and my amp is still far too much for this woofer to handle. I tuned my box to around 80 hz, and with my amp tuned back, it can handle the power and work for a long time, but it doesn't hit as hard as it should. And the same day I installed it, I nearly blew it up, so be careful with your tuning if you have a high-end amp; if you have a low-end amp, go crazy with the tuning; it should be fine. And I knew this wasn't the best idea because of the amp I have, because my amp has already eaten two other woofers that were also cheap, just not $35 cheap, so I'll write another review after I kill this woofer, which will probably be a week or two after I post this one. Yes, this woofer is one I recommend. Take it from me, if you use a cheap amp, you WILL KILL YOUR WOOFER.

Oh my goodness, what a pleasant surprise! These 10" subwoofers are a beast for the money
5/5

I then installed a planet audio 3000 watt amp under the seat in a 2017 Ram 1500 crew cab. I've got them wired in parallel all the way down to 1 ohm. It sounds fantastic, and it hasn't even been broken in. I have the bass on the radio turned all the way down and the bass boost barely turned on, and the backs of the seats are vibrating quite a bit. For a speaker that costs $30, it's incredible.

I wasn't expecting these to sound as good as they do
5/5

I bought two Planet Audio 10's for my truck; I've had Kicker, Rockford, and Memphis systems before, and I figured I'd give planet audio a shot; I wasn't expecting them to sound as good as they do. These guys are incredible. I would say that for the money I spent, the quality of the product I received, and even the way they pack their boxes for shipping, it was well worth it. Everything was of the highest possible standard. I also placed an order for six. Set of eights for the mids and tweets, and 6 x 9s for the rest. I'd use any name-brand speakers with these. This is an excellent product.

Simply purchase! So this is my fourth vehicle, and this is my eighth sound system
5/5

I'm used to dealing with high-end brands in my previous vehicles, but with my new vehicle, I didn't feel the need to spend that much money on something extravagant, so I looked for a subwoofer and bought it along with the amp, and I have to say that I'm very happy with my decision. I was hoping for something to simply complement the sound system in my car, but it has delivered far more than I expected. I believe this is an excellent purchase, and I have firsthand experience with the amp that comes with it, so I strongly advise you to purchase it as well. But it sounds great; the bass isn't distorted, the sound is smooth, and if you ask for it, it provides plenty of power.

Subs that are great for a "first car system," but are way overrated in terms of power
4/5

That is 100% not true, as the sub's say 1800w, and 900rms. The 12 inch subs are likely to be in the 300-400 watt range. 400 RMS. Apart from the fact that the manufacturer lied about the power (don't they all? ), ) These are some fantastic subs. They sound good in my dual bandpass enclosure and will improve with use. Allow them to work for a few minutes before pounding the block with them at full volume.

I bought a set against my better judgment and WOW
5/5

I dislike the rings that are not attached until they are screwed down. However, once properly installed and wired, So far, each speaker is putting out 600 watts rms. So, if you're running them through a boss amp and complaining about how loud they are, you're right. All I need is some clean, distortion-free power.
