The remote control for the PTZ functions is fantastic because we installed it very high up in our church. After you've set the 0-presets, it's time to move on to the next step Simply point at the camera and press the desired camera preset number. br>You can create up to 254 presets in the camera web interface, but anything with a number greater than 9 must be accessed through it. Overall, it's been an excellent choice for my requirements. br>We're 75 feet away from the altar when we take this picture. The image has been zoomed to a 22-foot wide shot (the altar is 22 feet wide), and there is still a lot of zoom available.
In a church auditorium, the main camera was mounted 40 feet from the stage and 10 feet high on the back wall. Outputting video audio to 1x8 4K HDMI splitter for TVs throughout the building and Black Magic Video monitor to record for DVD/streaming and feeding sound directly to camera from AUX out on main soundboard. While we learn how to use the system, we'll be using the included IR remote to control the camera, with plans to add joystick control and a second camera later. Fantastic image quality and a high level of customizability in terms of control and settings.
First and foremost, due to firmware issues, I am considering returning it. It was promised that it would be fixed in the next release, which isn't due for another three months. If you're writing a custom app for it, that's not a good thing to do. After about three weeks, I began to notice that the tilt would not fully extend to 90 degrees. I had decided to return it three days after the Amazon deadline had passed. br>I'd had enough of the Optics telling me that I wasn't the only one who had a problem. What's the big deal? Mine is tilting, so I sent an email requesting an RMA to send it back. After three days, I hadn't heard anything, so I called them. br>That's when I found out that I'm not the only one with this issue. Finally, they offered to issue me a return merchandise authorization (RMA). br>For the time being, I'm not going to be concerned about it. When something like this happens, I'll toss it in the trash and replace it with something better, just like I do with all the other things I buy. I will say that the 30x zoom on it is something I will miss. After further consideration, I discovered some with 40x and 50x magnification. I'll have to look them up again. PTZ Optics aren't what they're called.
I purchased three of these for use in our church's live-streaming video. The white balance was completely off when the cameras were placed about 20 feet from the altar. Our white robes and paraments shone like diamonds. Everything went smoothly once we got them in the back of the sanctuary.
This camera was purchased to serve as our backup camera. Our "A" camera is now in place. It's incredibly simple to program and integrate into whatever software you already have. The images are clear and true to their source. The only disadvantage is that the movements are a little "lurchy," so you'll want to make adjustments off-camera. feed.
There are only two aspects of this camera that I dislike. First and foremost, the manner in which it turns on and off is inconvenient. I've had this camera in place for three weeks now to live stream a church service, and no one seems to be able to tell when it's turned on or off. The second issue is that in order to turn this camera on or off, you must stand directly in front of it. We wish there was a way to turn this on from the side, but it works similarly to a TV in that you must be mostly in front of it to turn it on or off. Apart from that, we are very pleased with this camera's image quality and would recommend it to others.
The camera's build quality and image quality have both impressed me greatly. This is how we broadcast our church services live online. Covid threw me into video, as it did many others, having never done any before. We eventually decided to go this route and spend a little more to get a better camera. Plugging in the power and connecting the hdmi to the computer were all that was required to use this camera. This is an excellent option for a camera in a reasonably affordable price range.
I wish there was a way for me to return this. The image quality is poor, and the camera has a difficult time focusing. My phone could produce a higher-quality video.
