During my scuba diving trip in Mexico last month, I visited many caves. A great deal of light was provided in the caves by the light as it was designed to fit on my GoPro. My experience over 30 years and over 150 dives now have led me to feel that it was well spent, and this has been by far the best light I have ever.
There are five light settings - soft, medium, or bright - so the light lasts for about six hours. In this case, it uses the batteries that came with the cameras, but sometimes the batteries can pop out of their sockets and this causes problems when charging or using the lights. Each time I use my device and recharge it, I make sure that the batteries are properly seated. I broke the batter clip on the door about a year after I got it. My seller (Good Partner Sports) thankfully shipped me replacement doors for free, and I would like to thank them for their kindness. I wish I could give them a five star rating for their service.
I use mine on a chest harness that I wear when walking and running.
This LED light is not as robust as the other one I bought years ago (Shoot) however, it has a longer battery life and a greater number of replacement options for parts (batteries and doors) than that one did.
I take this as a knock-off This diving lamp is based on a diving lamp from a few This collection originally utilized a sand-blasted aluminum reflector that seemed designed to deflect the light from the three LEDs in an even and diffuse manner A chromed plastic reflector appears to be part of this version, but it does not appear to have been designed for this version A video was shot with it and a very uneven light was produced, with some spots and streaks that appeared very bright and would make the video look very It's not the type of light I would use for You can see both my photos here I did not perform any color correction on these photos since they were taken against a blue mat. As you can see, the brightness of this product is uneven.
After owning it for a month, I used it 2 days a week for about 10 hours a day off and on with no problems. As time passes, more will be learned
Update- After charging, I went to close the back and the clips that hold the door to the light broke off. I'm not sure if it can be exchanged for a new one as it is probably too old for replacement.
This review should provide some of my observations after using it for a while. In general, it's a decent film, but not a great one. A diver can get close enough to the target by night diving with this light Not one of the best straight shots of the year, but at least it's up close I also noticed that in my particular case, after running for say ten minutes, the subject was 5' from the background. If it is immersed in water, it will cease to work. I have no leaks, I am depressing the button This device just won't turn on. You can come above the surface, and everything will be The depth I've used has been 30' or less, as anything deeper is a waste of time given the quality of the My favorite feature is that I have been able to take close-up shots Various fish and corals, and plant life up close and personal As a result, I've since purchased better lighting that costs a lot more but produces a much higher quality of light. I probably should have started there from the begining, but I was looking for a product that was easy to hook up to the GoPro mounts. I would say that it is a positive experience overall. There are some benefits to it. Similarly, if you need only protection from environmental light, you may be able to use it.
Although it does not perform as well as the best illumination flashes, it is easy to use and lightweight, making it ideal for use with GoPro video cameras. It won't give much light if it's really far away, even if it is only a few feet away.
Honestly, I was hoping that it would enable me to see the colors of the sealife in the video, but it isn't as bright as I expected. A diver had a torch that was brighter and worked better, even though it was only a spotlight. It will probably go on the shelf and I'll get a light with a bright spot instead of a wide angle. It wasn't too bad since I didn't lose that much.
A filter was damaged by water when I was scuba diving in Fiji and stopped working 35 feet down. The video light advertised above is a scam and a total waste of money, let alone a ruined bucket list dive. Buy the best you can afford instead and don't waste your money on this nonsense!.
