Nordic Flash Waterproof Camera Float - Pack of 2 - Red & Orange

In case I drop my camera, I wanted something that would keep it from sinking. I frequently take my camera to the lake. Initially, I was just planning to buy a keychain float, but now I'm SO glad I came across To date, I only tried it in the pool, but it kept my AW130 right on top of the water. This brick is larger than expected, but I assume that's the way it has to be for it to hold up. There was also a regular wrist strap included, which I did not anticipate. The product arrived one day after I ordered it with Prime. I have updated the information as of August 25, 2017 The float keeps my camera afloat and I don't have to worry about it sinking to the bottom of the lake. I have been using it for well over a year and still LOVE it. Everyone who has a waterproof camera and is around or in the water on a regular basis should try it.

There is an extra strap included, which can be very useful. A recent trip to the beach led me to buying these. There is a regular nylon strap included as well, so you can easily swap out the float version for a normal strap (easy clip) when you are ashore.

These came in really handy with our older Olympus TG-70. (4) Took the camera underwater without a problem because it was tough and buoyant. Due to the fact that there were two cameras included in the package, we gave the second to our friends who bought a waterproof camera on impulse, but were worried about losing it in the sea. I did find one thing slightly annoying, however the material is porous (while it is nice and buoyant). There are two implications of this After being in the water for a while, you really need to squeeze some of the water out and 2) in addition to sunscreen lathering, you put this on your wrist as you get into the water and then it leaves a stain from the lotion around the inside of the loop. The pros and cons of a porous surface (nice feel) and a smooth surface are both obvious to me. I would recommend them highly and would buy them again in the future. They have a smooth surface (so they are easier to keep clean).

I recently purchased this to take on my trip. Some years ago, I lost my phone in a cenote (water hole), which prompted me to develop a product that would keep my phone from going into the water again. I used this product when I went into a cenote this summer, but it ceased to work after about 30 minutes. If it weren't for the lanyard around my neck, the phone would have been lost. The foam had not completely dried by the time I went to another cenote a few hours later, so I could not even place my iPhone 11 Pro Max on the surface. In a third cenote 2 days after my third visit, I tried this product again, it worked for about 30 minutes, but then it stopped working. It takes roughly 30 minutes for the material to soak up enough water, and once it has soaked up enough water the weight won't hold. You should be careful when buying!.

I thought these were smaller than they actually were based on the picture. This is a great idea and will work We wanted an extra security for our action camera in case it gets knocked off the mount while tumbling down a river. I have the ability to drill a small hole into 1 of each of my cases and screw one of these in. A bright color scheme was chosen to make it easy to find. I received a couple extra wrist lanyards that are not floating. I have no need for them.

The quality of these things is nice, and they do the job. A couple of Joto cases for phones are attached to these camera floats, and I took them out in it for a couple of minutes Sometime I wore them over my elbow while others I wore around my wrists. The strings around the straps really hold on to your phone or camera, or whatever else is important to you. They are comfortable to wear and they hold your phone well. As it is much easier to hold onto a waterproof case than trying to wear a waterproof case around your neck, it was very popular when I was out in the water.
