Despite the seller not responding directly to the question, notice how vague the answer is. I guess you now know that if you are anywhere near 147 feet. In case your Gopro leaks, it's game over.

This case was purchased for my trip to Maui, and the very first time I took it snorkeling it didn't take but five minutes for condensation to begin building up inside the case and soon flooding the lens and destroying I am disappointed.
During my dive at the Great Barrier Reef 2 weeks ago, I destroyed my GoPro with this case. It appears that Amazon is refusing to refund the cost of a GoPro I purchased through their website. In false claims, it was asserted that the case could withstand pressure up to 147 feet while I was only 40 feet under water. I am being asked by Amazon to contact the manufacturer about the case. The SD card of earlier video and pictures I had with me also contained some valuable footage - not only the opportunity to shoot a video at one of the world's best diving spots, but also some precious footage from the card of earlier diving footage.
My camera almost got ruined. The problem could be fixed using waterproof tape but it steamed constantly and ruined almost all the footage I had. Honestly, I don't recommend this product at all.
In my recent trip to the beach, I placed the case in the swimming pool and as soon as I dived in, water began filling the case. Take action now! There is no way this can be As a result of this crap case, I wasn't able to make a single photo or video on my trip.
Please try it in fresh water first. This is garbage. My first attempt at using this product in water took me several months after ordering it. It leaked the moment it went under water. Costa Rica offered some great opportunities for group photos, but unfortunately none could be had.
It doesn't make any difference whether or not I use the case my photos and videos are as vivid and clear as they were was expecting it to arrive wrapped in plastic or bubble wrap, but it came in it's own box packaging, which is very nice! Mine came with a really fine quality terry cloth for wiping smudges and other marks, which was very useful. No scratching of the surface when you use your fingers. There is no doubt that it will last for a year or two, assuming you take care of it correctly. It is extremely sturdy aside from the rather thin metal loop that holds the latch in place. As for the buttons, they feel sturdy, work well and look really nice. It was pouring rain here when my Hero 4 arrived as it was pouring rain, but I was then able to test the waterproof aspect (in wet weather) and it worked perfectly as well. do not snorkel or scuba dive, nor do I plan to take my camera under water, but for anyone who does, so long as the gasket is free of hair, I am sure it will work. The seal will certainly remain intact even if it has debris inside. There seems to be a strange feeling among the people complaining that their cases failed to seal after submerging their cameras that they were never completely sure their rubber gasket was completely free of any debris. In summary, I think that this is a high quality product and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a case of this nature. Tips for writers You should be able to open the case latch from the front by pulling up gently on it. From the back side, if you tug and pull you will most likely bend the metal ring which holds the latch, so the waterproof seal will be destroyed. Try to be careful with the latch thingy until you feel comfortable using it.
Despite the seller packing and shipping it poorly, the item arrived in good condition. As I was riding my motorcycle helmet, I used this case to protect the Hero from the elements. The ride went well for four rides and then it stopped working. It snapped on closing after the latch snapped on top. An issue such as this occurred after a battery change during a ride. It was a bad decision. Although the camera survived ( and kept the gopro from being damaged) despite two significant bugs impacts and a very hard 15-minute downpour, I believe it did perform as advertised. A JIC case is convenient for carrying all my gear, but the build quality, specifically the clasp, is sub-par. I might purchase another to act as a backup to my Gopro case, but that is already purchased. This is not a case of cheaper is better.
An original equipment case should be made of corrosion-free materials in order to be water proof. After operating the camera for just over a week, this unit leaked through the shutter release button and caused the camera to malfunction. The waterproof case that comes with this product is mediocre at best. To avoid disappointment and damage to your own equipment, contact the original manufacturer for replacement I have been trying for months to get Suptig to replace the product and so far they have not done anything to resolve the problem.
