I have a leak in my housing! On the first dive, the housing flooded, so I replaced the O ring, making sure to thoroughly check and then grease it. Trying to find cracks in the case, I poured over it. Even so, the leak continues, but to a much lesser degree. Unfortunately, most of the pictures came out with water spots. Thankfully, my camera is in good condition. The exchange of my housing would be of great interest to me. Finally, I upgraded my old TG-70 A new job is required (I loved my job 2), I had to purchase new housing (which I also did not have any issues with) and am extremely frustrated. It would be greatly appreciated if you could.
Since using my camera to snorkel regularly for close to six months, I wanted a housing for it. While I was pleased with the results, I wanted to take the camera underwater so the housing was necessary. This has been my go-to tool for quite some time, and I have never been disappointed. The device is extremely easy to use, solid, and totally watertight. like the lock on the closure wheel as well as how easy this is to clean and seal. In fact, I was surprised to find that I could operate the WiFi without taking the camera out of the housing. I did not even think I could do that! I have let my kids use it too, and they have also found it very simple to use. This is a better camera and easier to use than the Sony Cybershots with housings that I previously owned. As a result, the flash is very important to me. I'm glad I didn't go for a cheaper generic housing. My camera and housing will probably be used for a number of years.
It seems tough and well-made, but it seems unfinished in some areas. There are external buttons on the camera that are easy to use and to access the features. A very awkward latch design is included on the closure None of the Canon housings are as strong, easy to use, or as positive as the Canon models In addition, the switch that's supposed to prevent you from accidentally opening the latch does not "click" into place, it just slops back and forth in a fairly easy motion, so it's trivially easy to unlock.
Under water, it will take a little time to get used to the settings, but if you're going underwater often, the housing should be perfectly capable. When I first cleaned the lens, I didn't realize I had a couple drops of water in the housing which caused it to fog up. I learned a lot from this experience. If the housing and the camera are damp, they should not be sealed. Voici a tip You should keep your housing open when traveling by plane since it may be difficult to open if the doors are closed.
I bought this to make my Olympus TG-3 waterproof I was very pleased with the quality of the six cameras and that it was truly waterproof. At first I was a bit apprehensive due to the fact that it appeared complex, but after reading the manual with the case in front of me, I realized that it made sense and practicing the night before a drift snorkeling trip went successfully. Next day I snorkeled and took hundreds of pictures. That night I soaked the camera case in fresh water and transferred the pictures to my laptop, after soaking the case in fresh water in the sink. I will be able to take underwater photos safely for many years to come.
Controls on the TG-2000 are made by Olympus, so they are easily accessible It is easy to use and intuitive. It costs much less than other brands, and so far its performance has always been faultless. The video light clips easily to the handle and the arm for external video use. This is a highly recommended product.
The leak has not yet been discovered. Underwater, it is easy to change the settings.
I haven't used it for snorkeling on the beach yet, but I find it to be a very good housing for my P6 Olympus camera in the pool.
