I love the design of this case! I was able to install it easily on my GoPro Hero 6 Black! A bonus is the lens cover, which also acts as a very responsive button. My recommendation to anyone wanting to take their GoPro with them under water is to buy this case!.
It is true that the Hero 5 is My first hero died in the pool when he was only 2- My hero 6 is supposed to be waterproof, but mine died in the pool I took this camera swimming into a large pool that was 3 feet deep because the seals failed and GoPro was unwilling to replace it. With its water-tight enclosure, I am able to use my GoPro either poolside or at the beach with confidence. In addition to the lens cover and moisture pads, it also came with a lens cap to help prevent fogging during filming. After seeing how great the quality is, I plan on buying a housing for my Hero 4 sessions. The big advantage of these cases is they do not require you to remove your GoPro's glass. There are official GoPro housings that don't need this, which is a pain to have to screw and unscrew every time you want to remove the camera.
As a whole, I am extremely satisfied with this product. It is thicker and more durable than the other two I've bought before on Amazon, which is btw the best seller on Amazon. Perfect for my Gopro hero 5 black, fits perfectly except for the back where it feels like it does not sit flush. I tested it on water and it was fine, although there were a few bubbles around the sides where it does not sit flush but there is no water leakage.
