Questions & Answers

Can you tell me what I need to purchase so that I can mount the stick? How can these accessories be used if the instructions are so bad?

There are an amazing number of mounts included in this bundle package that we ordered. Unless you are looking for a very specific item that isn't included, I don't think you will have to order anything extra. The best thing you can do is order the camera bundle package, and if what you're looking for is not included, contact the company and ask them to add it. The company seems very reliable and has a great customer service department.

What is the largest size of micro SD card that it can support? 64GB? Is 128 correct? And so on. ?

As far as I recall, it said 64 in the manual.

microphone for this camera that is compatible with the external microphone on this ?

I have no idea. Despite the internal mic being adequate to record, I have never experienced any issues. Even though the unit plays the videos at a low volume, the converted MP4 videos output a strong volume and clear picture.

The camera on my phone is not working. What should I do?

You can connect your phone with the cameras' hot spot by going into wifi mode on the camera and connecting it to your phone. Once you find your camera, you need to use the app.

Selected User Reviews For AKASO EK7000 Pro 4K Action Camera + PNY Elite-X 64GB U3 microSDHC Card (Bundle)

The camera is awesome
4/5

There is no documentation at all. 'Bribery' is hinted at in a sketchy manner. Only I am responsible for the content of this review. This is my honest opinion that I believe will be helpful to other customers, and I did not receive any compensation for it. This is a professional five-star camera with a wide variety of features. It would be great if I had filmmaking skills to use this to make a 'sleeper' movie. It isn't easy for me to make films. Because of this, I will not even attempt it.

Keeping that in mind, I'm a newbie when it comes Adding the AKASO EK7000 Pro 4K Action Camera to my order was because after Covid19, this camera was cheaper to buy as compared to the webcam I planned to buy to use as a backup Use the roll camera to vlog and upload videos Creation of a product. The following is my biography Despite my roll camera, I still rely on the C920 as a The following are the main problems For over two hours, I searched the internet, switched SD cards, scanned QR codes, saved PDF files, and downloaded apps to my Android phone to see if I could get it working in Mass Storage mode so that I could transfer and watch the videos from I was not able to follow any of the online instructions. It was so frustrating after hours and hours of trying everything others said would work but didn't work that I seriously considered throwing it away and accepting Angry was all I could think of. A little frustrated. I should not have had so much trouble figuring that It says to use an SD Card reader to transfer files or to use apps on an Android or iOS phone to move them. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be to just connect a USB cable and transfer files as a 'mass storage device. ' I now know that's a bad, This is a terrible slowdown. There is no way to transfer files from this device. 14 GB of files can be transferred across USB 3 in three hours. What does 0 cable mean? It does not seem to be the case. Don't ignore what Akaso tells you to do. As an alternative, you can use an SD card reader. To transfer the files via my gaming PC (which I also bought from Amazon) it took me only three minutes and not three hours. There is, however, a risk of the SD card getting damaged if you will keep switching it out constantly. It is up to you to choose the method that is right for you. The three-hour wait time for file transfers over a USB cable is a bit much for me. I am just going to buy another SD card if mine gets damaged. PROBLEM 2 This mode is not addressed by the tiny printed manual included with the DVD, nor by the pdf file downloaded from the website. There is no documentation on how to switch from action cam mode to PC Camera mode for webcam use (which is why I bought the device in the first place). In an unrelated Amazon review, the author noted that the camera needs to be turned on before you connect the USB cable, otherwise mass storage or the PC camera mode will not Are you serious? What's the reason? It is nearly impossible to connect any device without it being turned off. Ensures your arch will not arch and other problems won't occur. It works for me, but not for this device. Grrr! I forgot to mention these not so obvious tips to you newbies In particular, if you are using this as a web cam, you should turn off Super Wide Angle. If you don't want to eat fish, don't eat it As shown in my test picture of the three rulers, there is an eye effect. If you want a really "pro fish" then you need to keep it super wide In many action movies and events, there is a video effect featuring an eye. The video webcam quality is superb once the wide settings are reduced to a more normal level. That's too bad. Leaving the settings wide on your video editor will allow you to crop and edit your videos. It might be impossible to crop the image with the reduced setting. a) To use this device as a webcam via USB for use as a PC camera, you must turn your camera on before connecting the camera to the computer! In this case, the camera becomes a video recording device. (b) In the upper right corner of the screen, click on the webcam image once you see Mass storage. Using this device as a webcam has been made possible. That's too bad. You do not need batteries if you are planning to use it as a webcam. Due to the fact that your recordings are done directly on a PC, you may even be able to do without an SD card. Very nice indeed! 3) If you wish to get good footage, you need good lighting. No matter where you are. The purpose of this is primarily to record outdoors in natural light, not under artificial light. An emphasis is placed on the "action" The following are some of the things I hate The MOV video format is 1) supported. You can download x264 for free or open source Video editing and saving space on SD cards are better served by this format, as it is more compressed and easy to edit. Having bought it as a bargain, I have used it View webcam as you roll. In my opinion, the C920 is the best View webcam as you roll. Besides the two Android cellphones, two additional webcams are used occasionally as well. Consequently, I won't be affected as much by the MOV video format as I might be affected by try to record directly to my PC, not to my SD card. * Update I now have the SD card. Following the reading of my review, an Akaso customer service representative contacted me by email dated 6/7/2020. Due to the fact that I am a (seemingly) unhappy customer, they said they wanted to make things right. There was no request made of them other than to tell me if they can make this camera record in x264 or better codec, or if they will have one in the future let me know when they will have one so I can purchase A first email they sent said, "We aim to make our company and products better every day, and we hope to have you as a satisfied customer. ". They meant it when they said I appreciate how they go out of their way to make me happy. In fact, they told me that AKASO makes other "PRO" cameras that use the x264 format rather than It's the 'PRO' action cameras at the higher end of the price range. In that case, you may want to check out the V50 series instead if you hate MOV files. Additionally, you can capture up to 120 frames per second (@ 720p) with the V50 series, and you have access to many setting controls that are exclusive to I should have originally bought the V50 because it is the camera that fits best with my needs and is the one I should have chosen. Thanks to you, I now While the V50 does have some downsides (aside from being an expensive model), it does have one major disadvantage. I would recommend sticking with the EK7000 (this camera) if you are not into video editing. When compared with the V50, the EK7000 offers an edge in terms of video quality, crispness, and colors. People who plan to edit their photos in post-processing will benefit from the V50. There are pros. In comparison with the EK7000, the V50 offers greater flexibility when it comes to editing lossless video quality. You might know what I mean if you're in the film industry. I read reviews that say this company offers free stuff in the box if you provide five stars or 'honest reviews' in exchange for five-star The information you have provided is correct, I can confirm it. My package included some of the same free 'honest reviews' as well. My response to the freebies was to ignore them. I bought all the free stuff they offered at the same time I ordered the camera, so it's not like it made much sense. Here is what I like the most 1) Customer service. This company is crazy, but in a good way. amazed at their level of customer service. These people have corresponded with me back and forth for nearly a month to ensure that I understand what I ordered. It wasn't more than $100 for something like this. It has never happened before. Video quality - This is the second factor. My impressions of the video quality have been seriously enhanced after playing with the thing for hours like a kid with a new toy. As well as mowing the yard and watering 70 container plants using the chest harness, I wore a respirator. It is astonishing how good the video quality is for such a little We had only one issue. The wife was so impressed by this presentation that she sat through the boring part. The same applies. 3) Those 3M stick-on tacks. can't believe I am kidding you We tested the 3M stick ons by attaching two to the luggage rack of our Sienna after cleaning it with rubbing alcohol, waiting 24 hours, and then washing the van. We then purposely left them on to see if they would come off after the wash. That wasn't the case. I placed them exactly where I wanted them to stay. I found no leaks in the water system. There is no letting go of the My cameras' exposure to this carwash is far worse than they will ever see in the real world. I completely doubt they will make it through real life if I use them outside of the home office for real world 'action. ' I do not In summary AMMWI

My belief is that anyone who has film making/video recording skills can shoot a quality action cam movie or even a sleeper b-movie The thing is small enough that it can be used for a movie. I have found it acceptable and am not unhappy with it. The camera does not bother me at all. The camera does not bother me at all. The camera does not bother me at all. The camera does not bother me at all. Are you sure you understand? This is good. I am amazed at the quality of the video. It's aggravating to find the MOV format consumes too much storage space, plus there's no comprehensive user guide for new users to fully explain how to utilize it. Aside from that, I am happy that I purchased the item. If I needed another camera in the future, yes, I would buy from them again. I would do it in The Akaso camera I currently own is not up to the task of taking pictures for film. I probably will order one of the Brave series if I ever decide to enter the film industry and need more than I currently have. At such a low price for what you get, it will have an adverse impact on the industry. Except maybe if they want hardware, I cannot think of any reason for a consumer to buy anything other than an Akaso The features of this camera are emulated on a high level. A camera with true 'pro' hardware will cost between $700 and $7000 There are a few features that this camera emulates. There is no need for $7000 level of control for me. As far as my needs go, this is adequate. This is an excellent camera in its own right. It took me a while to figure out what each of these items is It would have been fun to shoot more dried out lawn cutting videos or fight more car wash dragons with that time.

A little powerhouse with a lot of oomph! Then read on! I am stunned! The little Akaso EK7000 arrived by Saturday after I placed my order on Wednesday
5/5

For over a year, I have been contemplating getting an action camera, and after my last trail ride, I decided to add one to my collection. I thought the only game in town was the GoPro, but I was so glad to come across this one instead. Since this is my first camera, I didn't want to invest too much of my Before I placed my order, I checked out a couple of YouTube videos and saved them, hoping they would be useful when the camera ultimately ** 1a . The camera arrived, we unpacked it, and we started to use it - man unboxing, installing parts, and going through basic setup of Akaso EK7000 camera. I stopped it because he talked about formatting the SD card, but he didn't follow up on it, and I was going to have As a result, I downloaded the User Guide and followed the step-by-step instructions to format the SD card
1b. Getting back to the video, based on the way the man set up the camera, I chose to record it in 1080P at 60 fps and with stabilization enabled. ** 1. Take a few videos! The weather outside was drizzling and it was very windy and dusty, thus, it made sense to try out a waterproof case. Even in the waterproof case, it is super easy to turn on. Shooting a 1 was good for me We ran inside to take a closer look after watching the video for a minute. The quality of the video is so good I forgot to remove the lens cover, I could read the writing on the clear protective sticker before I took off the lens cover! It will be helpful to use the stabilizer mode on my bike once I get on it. 3 A remote control was tested There is a camera button and a video button, both of which work! 4
The second video has a kid navigating through all the accessories and attachments. It was so cute and informative that it got me through all the basics I needed to know about installing I was surprised to see so many attachments and accessories that were going to be useful. Because I have not figured out the best way to mount the device on my bike, the video is a little shaky. Having received the Akaso accessory kit, which has been quite helpful, I am glad to have it. I have finally reached my goal I didn't download the editing software because too many reviews conflicted with each other, and I found it very simple to just drop the files onto my desktop for viewing and sharing. Thank you,.

How good is it compared to a Go-Pro Do you support the proposal? Click here to continue reading

The camera I want to get is small, inexpensive, and it can shoot 4K at 30fps. My goal was to save the Go-TV time and money but I was not willing to spend the money Generally speaking, yes. Observing specs and reviews of dozens of cameras on Amazon convinced me that this was the right purchase. There was very little difference between the cameras in terms of specification. Lots of them looked like they could have been made by the same company. I had a hard time choosing between them. The thousands of positive reviews for the AKASO cameras led me to my decision. Due to its features, the Akaso EK7000 Pro was the perfect choice for me. The camera has been under my control for the past few weeks, while I have been shooting stills and videos. In addition to the excellent image quality, the stabilization is also outstanding. Despite its low-cost nature, this app isn't ideal for a low-end computer Outside, the light is good Here's the thing This is a box, but there is a +/- sign It is possible to compensate for EV. Setting up the UV setting in a couple of positions helps a lot when it comes to getting a good video or still. In addition to shooting in HD, I also shot in As you shoot 4K video, your camera gets a little warm. The temperature never really gets hot, but it is always I don't really know what to compare it with, but I suspect that it is not that great in terms of battery life. Within the box you will find two batteries and a USB charger. A few minutes are all it takes to charge the batteries. There is no difference between internal and external microphones in terms of audio quality. Due to its lack of an external microphone jack, it is not compatible with external microphones. Cameras with an external microphone jack are available on the Akaso. You will have to pay a little bit more for that unit. For users who want to control their camera functions through their mobile phones, an Android app is available for free download and installation It has been a great purchase for me. If I am filming for a long period of time, I probably will use a power bank to operate the camera via the micro-USB port Plugging in a USB cable. Go-Go tickets at the cheapest price I would have still paid twice as much for my Akaso if I had bought a pro camera. It sounds like a good deal to me.
