Questions & Answers

Is it accurate to say that the CF tripod is only. Do you want to lose 5 pounds? Why is it so much more expensive if that is the case?

Slow shutter speeds and long focal lengths benefit from the carbon fiber's improved vibration absorption. Aside from that, it's all about losing weight. If you walk, hike, bike, or travel without a car, carbon fiber tripods will save you a lot of weight.

The top of my head is wobbling. Is this something that can be easily fixed?

loosen the top of the mount's thumbscrew, then rotate the head clockwise until it's tight. After that, you can put the head under lock and key. If you need to rotate the head in the opposite direction, you must loosen the thumbscrew slightly; otherwise, it will become loose and cause head wobble. I hope you find this information useful.

Is it possible to turn the camera 90 degrees upwards towards the sky with the head?

Yes, the ball head has a "slot" cut into it that allows the camera connection part to rotate 90 degrees.

Is it possible to use this tripod with a Sony A6000 camera?

Any camera with a standard 1/4"-inch-thickness lens will work. The bottom screw hole has a capacity of 20 screws. It is stated that the A6000 has this capability.

Don't believe the negative reviews about the tripod head coming loose
5/5

Manfrotto makes excellent tripods, and this one is no different. Sturdy tripod legs and a high-quality fluid head that won't come loose and lets you adjust the tension easily. This tripod is well worth the money, and I'm surprised at how many people have given it negative reviews, claiming that the head is loose. I'm pretty sure the majority of those reviews came from people who didn't bother to read the manual and assumed their tripod head would just screw on and work. To prevent the tripod head from loosening, all Manfrotto tripods have a set screw in the part that attaches to it. A quick glance at the manual will reveal how to properly set it up. Overall, I'm glad I was able to get my hands on one of these. I've rented this tripod for school films several times and have never had a problem.

If you can't decide whether to go with this or one of the other options, this is the way to go
5/5

Tripods made of carbon fiber with a name brand. To save money, I first purchased a $100 off-brand carbon fiber tripod. I occasionally shoot with a d750 and larger lenses, but some reviews indicated that it could handle pro gear reasonably well. For the price, it was a good tripod, but not good enough to rely on for professional use. The legs had a lot of flex when fully extended and didn't feel very sturdy. Metals and plastics appeared to be of low quality as well. This one, on the other hand, is fantastic. br>br> There is no leg flex, the legs are light but sturdy, the metal is of good quality, the leg locks are plastic but of good quality, and the ball head is also nice. br>br>If you have a choice between this and a less expensive tripod, go with the more expensive option. br>br>Edit 3-24/18: I left it leaning against the back of my house unintentionally for two weeks fml (it's been bitterly cold and windy, with over a foot of snow this week). I just brought it in and it appears to be in perfect condition! There were no rusted screws or metal to be found. Once I've used it again, I'll post an update.

The construction is of poor quality
3/5

I'm a real estate photographer, and the tripod's design is exactly what I needed to get the job done quickly and efficiently. The two stars are due to the design; otherwise, it would have received a one. However, I've only had it for a month and one of the tripod legs frequently falls out, requiring me to pick it up and reattach it to the tripod, as well as tighten the harness. This can be humiliating, especially when I'm working on high-profile photo shoots. It's simply unacceptable for a $150 tripod to have a leg fall off after only a month. I don't abuse my tripod in any way; I only use it on a regular basis. On Fridays, there are six appointments scheduled throughout the day. It's getting worse. br>br> The right lever that controls the horizontal tilt feature, which is one of the most important features in real estate photography, stripped shortly after I dealt with the broken leg, and I can no longer tighten or loosen it without using a wrench. As a result, I have to carry a wrench with me at all times and treat my tripod like a sleeping baby. br>Overall, the construction quality is poor and the price is not justified. I wish I could have returned it sooner, but I'm stuck with it now that the return policy has expired.

Aside from the bag, the construction is of high quality
4/5

My business partner and I upgraded from cheap $25 plastic tripods to a Manfrotto with a fluid head. We can't say enough about how fantastic this tripod is! Advantages: br>br>
- When you loosen the leg locks, they never become stuck, and the legs always extend fully. When you think a tripod leg is fully extended but it isn't, it's extremely inconvenient.
- In comparison to plastic tripods, the tripod is significantly taller and far more stable at maximum height. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- Two separate strings are sewn from the top of the tripod bag and knotted to metal rings. We stopped re-tying these knots because they came undone so easily. instead of tying them, have long red loose strings flying around all over the place. I suppose I could cut them, but then we'd be without a strap when one is required.
- When collapsing the tripod, the handle blocks the way. So I put the handle on backwards and then make sure the "Lens this way" is actually pointing AWAY from the lens when I put the plate on my cameras. It's a simple fix, and I always remember which way the plate goes on, but couldn't they have designed it a little better?.

Legs are excellent, and the head is adequate
5/5

The 290 XTA 3-in-1 is a review of the 290 XTA 3-in-1. Way Kit: Legs: br>br>Feet: br>br>Knees: br>b br>The legs on this are exceptional. They're small and compact, but they're incredibly strong and can grow to be quite tall! I own several Manfrotto tripods and have used a lot of them in the field, and I can honestly say that these are the best tripod legs I've ever used! br>br>Head: br>br>Back: br>br>Front: br The three-way head works fine. It's well-made and should last a long time, thanks to the use of mostly metal and durable plastic. The only problem is that adjusting the angles is a little jerky and difficult to get right. Unlike my other Manfrotto tripod heads, which are fully metal and adjust the angles smoothly. It's tolerable, but I found it a little inconvenient on architectural shoots because it was difficult to keep my "lines straight. " " It also only has one bubble for leveling, which I found made it even more difficult to level (compared to a two-bubble system). Each axes plane has its own bubble. ) The single bubble system, on the other hand, has the advantage of allowing you to see it when you're in a tight spot, such as photographing a house in the corner of a room. br>br>Conclusion: br>br> If you have a little more money, I would recommend purchasing the legs separately and then purchasing a tripod head of your choice to attach to them. If you have a little more money, I would recommend purchasing the legs separately and then purchasing a tripod head of your choice to attach to them. (It's simple)br>On the other hand, if you want to film video with nice smooth pans, this tripod head won't cut it. The Manfrotto 502 Video Head MVH502AH is something you should look into. br>br>I hope that this information is useful! Thanks.
