I have looked around for camera monitors for a while, and this monitor is the best for the price and size. I purchased this monitor because it can be powered by an external battery with a Type-C connector. Connect the cable to the C port. My purchase was a pair of batteries for the F970. This is a light weight monitor that sits well on top of my camera and is easy to use. It's easy to navigate and change settings on the touch screen. It has a fast and responsive touch screen. Using the screen for a shoot is quick and easy due to its sharpness. There are two ways to mount the bracket. There is a positive and a negative. There is a positive, but there is also a negative. In spite of the holes where the bracket locks into place, once the bracket is mounted to the bracket, the bracket does rotate once the bracket is mounted. The monitor will not cause you any problems if you use it as a field monitor. The situation is not that big of a deal for me at the moment.
I love this monitor! It has great color and a great display. Because of the unique encoder mount on the monitor, I thought I would be able to mount my encoder to it. As shown in the photo, you can follow my example. However, adding a battery of any size to the NP device was too heavy and would only give half the power than if both devices are powered by batteries. The picture shows a NP dummy battery connected to two NP batteries. I attempted to fix this with a NP dummy battery. A dummy battery at 8 draws about 16 amps, but the real battery draws 22 amps. The cable monitor and encoder became hot as a result of trying to draw current from the batteries at 6 volts. I will be using a 6v dummy battery to power the monitor, while using my 12v NP batteries to power the dummy battery. With this setup, both devices are powered by one 12v cable from my daisy chain of 2 np batteries connected to my monitor, through the encoder, into my monitor. * * * The monitor mount is the best - I used it but had to use the 12v power or a np battery mount on the monitor, but it's too heavy and life is too short now I'm having to power both the monitor and encoder simultaneously. I love the monitor and the mount, though just make sure you know what the power requirements are.
I found it to be very good and helpful. The best benefit of this feature is the ease with which the work of revising in practice is facilitated. It's a Nikon d300s that I use with it. Plus, there are two HDMI connectors, one in and one out, making it the best. Whatever you need to do to do your job is possible. This kit includes everything needed for a field job by a photographer or videographer.
monitor is an excellent choice that rivals some of the more expensive brands at a fraction of the cost. The colors are accurate, the size is just right for checking focus, there is a touch screen, and multiple power options make it a great deal at the price. It's hard to go wrong if you just get another monitor because I was impressed with the first one.
The capability of having a wide variety of uses You can connect all the ports and attachment options you could need with this monitor, which has one of the most compact form factors I've seen to date.
*Claiming it to be a poor monitor in terms of picture quality and viewing ability is a huge exaggeration. It is the perfect monitor for this laptop. A larger kit may be better suited to another vendor. This is
- As an aside It's very frustrating that I cannot switch the image to black and white, as well as not being able to see the waveform of the image. The price is definitely worth it!.
It's not bright (not enough for outdoor shooting), but it meets my needs. A good choice for cameras without decent viewing screens or those being used on gimbals. When you are a director and need to see what the gimbal operator sees in real time, this is especially helpful.
I love it, it's great.
