Nikon's warranty, I believe, has been reduced to one year. I'll have to double-check the warranty card to be sure, though. It used to be a lot longer, I know.
I don't see why it wouldn't work on your camera because it's a z50.

I enjoy macro photography, so Nikon's announcement of the 105mm f2 lens made me very happy. For the Z mount cameras, there are eight micro lenses available. br>br>The lens is larger, but not as heavy, as its F mount counterpart. It creates stunning images that are sharp from edge to edge. As a S- It has a control ring and function button that can be customized for the Z mount lens. br>br>Focusing is quick and quiet, and the lens has a focus-lock feature. For close-up work, a limiting switch is used to set a maximum working distance. There are also four of them. While you might not want to ditch the tripod for true macro work, you can use this in the field with confidence if you don't have one. Handheld photography was used to capture the image below. br>br>Strongly suggested! br>br>.
For a macro lens, the dual stepping motors provide excellent focusing. And the use of virtual reality in both the head and the body. The quality of the lens is outstanding. br>I'm so happy I went with the Z system. Z6 - 20, 50, 85, and 105 are all numbers that can be used to make a number of different combinations The FTZ adapter is compatible with a wide range of F-series cameras. (200-400mm) mount lenses 500 f5. 6 is a great combination)br>All images were taken directly from the camera. 1st outing with the lens, jpgs transferred to my phone via SnapBridge What a fantastic idea!.
The build quality and edge to edge sharpness are superb on this lens, which takes super sharp photos and has nice looking bokeh. It's a great little thing to have. It has everything a Nikkor S lens should have, plus a little bit more. br>br>I'm having trouble with the auto focus. I tried point focusing, but even with a relatively large object in the foreground, it jumps around a bit before going off to infinity, never to return, even when I limit it with the switch. However, many of my lenses have focusing issues, so it's possible that the problem is with me rather than the lens. I think I'm suffering from ADHD because I can't seem to concentrate! Aside from that one flaw, which is almost certainly my fault, this lens is fantastic to use and I would recommend it to anyone interested in trying macro photography. Although it can be used for other purposes besides macro, I would recommend using a different lens unless you are interested in macro photography. If macro is your thing, or if you just want to try it, and you have a nice 105MM 1: This is the way to go if you only have one portrait lens. If macro isn't your thing, I'd recommend switching to a different 105 prime for portraits and other similar work.
I've never used a macro lens that has been as sharp as this one. Individual pollen grains in a flower can be resolved using a Nikon Z7ii camera. I'm excited to do some more macro photography - Portraits, too - with it.
This is an extremely lovely lens. This is a lens that you will not be sorry you purchased.
Hermoso lente, con todos los lados de nikon para montura z, buen estabilizer, autoenfoque un poco lento, pero con excelente nitidez y desempeo en todos los ambientes.
This lens performs admirably, as one would expect. The 105mm S MC is a sharp, fast, and lightweight macro lens that can also be used for portraits with lovely bokeh when shot wide open. The foundations of stability have been laid- camera. This lens is pricey, but it has a 1:1 magnification ratio. 1 for close-up photography A 2:3 ratio is preferred by some people. 1 or higher macro shooting capability, but the majority of people will only need 1: The number one is perfect.
