It's the filter, not the mount, that's the problem. It's a good match for T6.
On the lens, there is a red circle. The lens will fit as long as the body is aligned with the same red circle.
Yes, using an EF to R adapter from Canon. It performs admirably. The autofocus works well.

This lens is fantastic! It appears to be a little more difficult to screw on than my other two kit lenses for my Rebel T7, but it produces incredible results. I had no problems registering it on the Canon website, so I am confident that this is a genuine product rather than a knockoff. It's important to remember that, even though this is a 50mm lens, it will behave differently if you have a crop sensor like my Rebel T7. Even after all these years, it's still a good investment. It was slightly more expensive than on the Canon website, but we had to pay more because Canon couldn't get it here before Christmas.
I was using my Kit lens (18-55mm) for this shot. For photography, I used a 55mm standard lens and edited everything to improve the look. Until I upgraded to this, I thought I had good photography. This is a fantastic lens. It's simple to figure out and put into practice. I don't like that it doesn't have a zoom feature, but I was aware of what I was getting myself into. Both photos were taken with a flash, but it's clear which one is better!.
It was only used a couple of times. It performs admirably, but I'm used to a zoom lens. You can only shoot what you frame with this lens.
This lens is an excellent choice for both amateur and professional photographers. It is unquestionably a must-have addition to any collection.
On my T5i, it works perfectly. I purchased it in anticipation of receiving a full frame.
The photographs are excellent. Although I prefer to use it in manual mode, it has a great deal of focus. Although it is not made of metal, it is of excellent quality. I strongly advise you to investigate whether or not you require an adapter. I needed one for my Canon eos M200, but I adore it. Portraits are my favorite because they require good images and stabilization.
I've been playing with the lens and I really like it; it takes sharp photos, and despite the fact that I'm still new to photography, I believe this is my best purchase so far, and it's also very affordable.
I'd always wanted a "nifty fifty," but my budget didn't allow it. So when I got the chance to get one, I jumped at it. So far, I'm really enjoying it.
