There are three types of light to choose from so you can get a warm or a Dimming is also an option for each type of light. If you have a phone case on, I recommend taking it off, as mine popped out of the holder so I couldn't take The video and still images look better than regular pictures when you are taking pictures or doing tutorials. You can take both videos and stills with this device.
