This printer is for me to use in my bullet journal and scrapbook. Its concept is great. Although the prints are rather poor, the quality is not that great. I've tried tweaking the colors and using and removing photo filters, but all I can get is mediocre results. You can do that before you drop $99 on it, if you know that beforehand. The paper should be of good quality. The prints are nice. One downside to zincink paper is that the prints appear more warm and brownish like they are vintage. You will notice that your prints are dull and your colors are off if you like brilliant colors. Despite trying other brands, HP Zink Photo consistently prints great pictures for my journal and mini photo albums. A flat surface is one of the issues that all zink papers suffer from due to their manufacturing process. I'm ok with it whether I change my mindset or not. Since I use it as a journal, the photos still serve their purpose of recording and reminiscing about happy moments I spent with people I love. I use the iPhone app to brighten/lighten photos before printing photos with the Sprocket app in order to improve color tones. By taking this extra step, I am satisfied with how the photos turn out.

The Sprocket app used to be the only one that let you print from, but now you can print from any photo app, which is helpful when there are several people using your phone at once because you don't have to explain directions to everyone.
