I've used the light adjustment a few times during low-light situations. You can adjust the brightness by pushing on the right side of the OK and moving it up or down. Natural light is still the best. I'm not sure about the second part of your question.

I really enjoy the sport mode. My son is a football player in college. Now I'm getting pictures that I never expected to see. Everything you'll ever need is included. I've even begun taking photographs of wildlife. There is almost no sound from the shutter. This camera is fantastic.

For a beginner like me, it's a great camera. . . I'm still learning how to use the settings. I used it for my son's track season, and the video turned out fantastic. . . though the videographer still needs to work on his skills. It zooms in to a distance of at least a mile. When zoomed out, it takes a while to focus, but overall, I'm happy with it!.
