The T4i has been in my possession for seven years. The camera is great, and it takes a lot of photos. In anticipation of receiving the T8i, I was very excited. My main reason for buying it was that it had an HDMI output that could handle 4K 24P. It was my intention to purchase the 90d, but Canon refuses to fix the 24P clean out bug (it outputs as 30P even when the The way I work is by using a blue-tooth headset Ray, which means I'm in need of I had considered giving up Canon entirely, but I decided to stick with the T8i (the T4i will be passed down to my daughter and I plan to share the lens collection) instead. A thing I did not realize before I purchased the camera was There is a crop when using 4K video. Typically, there is about a 2x crop when taking a film clip at 27mm whereas a photo at 50mm would be about the same. I didn't see it listed somewhere, but maybe it was there. Hence, I gave it a 1 out of 10. Adding a 2x crop to the 6x crop sensor creates 4k videos. In order to break the 30 minute mark I recorded to a Ninja V (mainly for speed). A camera with good footage at an entry level price is a good choice. It is not a huge dynamic range, but the quality is good, especially after being able to adjust things with the Ninja V tools. I am not allowed to take part in the contest However, as with most cameras, a log does not exist, but that is not surprising at this price point. I tried recording to one of the Ninja V's and another internally to the SD card without noticing any difference in It does, however, give you focus peaking on the camera's screen when you're using manual focus mode. The focus is not guaranteed to be right without zooming in, but it is available in some circumstances. I don't like the removal of the exposure compensation button especially because it was one of the biggest things I was unhappy with. You need this button to make quick adjustments while shooting in manual mode. Even though you can reassign the function to another button, it's extremely awkward and isn't located in a comfortable spot like it used to be. In the T7i and T8i, it was there, but now it's missing. It's this alone that irritates me, and while I would prefer to shoot photography with my T4i, I still prefer the EOS. As a result of the removal of the exposure compensation button, the menus have become a lot simpler. If I plan on handing this over to my 12-year-old for her to learn on her own, that would be excellent. According to the mode dial, it shows you and somewhat walks you through the settings you need to change to get different effects (depth of field, subject blur, These are all tasks that a person who knows basic photography and their way around their camera can do relatively quickly. This option can also be disabled to allow you to access My expectation is that improved cameras will be available in the coming years that will make me swap, even to another brand. I'm tired of other brands going above and beyond to give the user what they want while Canon looks at you just telling you to shut up and use If you prefer, you can invest a lot of money in their higher-end In the unlikely event that they don't restore the exposure compensation button, my Rebel will be my last. As time progresses, we will find out.
Overall, I have enjoyed almost everything about this camera, which I wish I could rate five out of five stars. In case of a minor complaint and a significant complaint, I expect that they can be easily solved. There is a driver from Canon that allows these cameras to be used as webcams. Drivers for this camera do not work with that one. Although Canon did not promise that it would work with the camera, I am going to be fair. When you go to their website and select the application, you cannot see a listing of this camera as a compatible device. It probably should be, at least that's my opinion. It would be reasonable to assume that their latest and greatest webcam will be included in that application. Being a CEO of a software company, I consider myself to be one of the most advanced users of technology. The problem is I am almost 100 and I cannot provide all the answers. About 5% of the time, I'm confident that I've exhausted all my options. Help is on its way to me. i have contacted Canon tech support but they are also unable to resolve the issue. As of this writing, I've posted in the Canon forum and got at least half a dozen helpful people to help me get it working. gladly change this review to a five-star one when they get that utility out of beta testing. It is time for them to move on and produce version 1 of their utility since they have been in beta for too long. This camera is one of zero that support it.
Starting out with a Canon SX720HS 40X small digital camera, I took photos of wildlife and places around my backyard, as well as people. So I'd describe myself as a beginner to intermediate photographer I am a fan of midrange cameras. A few months later, I bought a Canon Rebel 8ti and a 24-105mm Zoom lens with 105 mm focal length from Canon. My favorite thing about the camera is that it not only takes the sharpest, clearest, most wonderful pictures I've ever taken, but that I can actually operate it. As of right now, I know very little about how exposure settings, ISO, and aperture work- I just know that if you get it on auto and hold the button half way it takes care of everything for you. If you wish to learn the functions of the different buttons, you must do so. In no way should you consider this a beginner's camera, it is considerably more complex than that. It is of superior quality and regarded as a professional-grade camera, but can still be operated easily by anyone ready to take on this challenge. There are no words to describe how much I love this book.
of the product seems a bit cheap, but the function has been satisfactory to date. A battery usually lasts for about a year It is capable of lasting up to 5 hours without flash (no battery charge). I ordered it for absolutely no charge, and it was shipped for free. I had to wait too long for it The first thing I noticed was that everything was warm to the touch when I opened the box. Telling me that I did not have to do anything about it It is important to be in an air-conditioned location. The equipment should not be abused in any way.
I am not a professor, so I have to take this into consideration. It is not a perfect camera by any means, but so far I am very pleased with what it does! So far, these shots are awesome, and I like how light they are! Additionally, all my other lenses that I have acquired over the years are compatible with this one and for me not wanting to spend more than necessary, that was another plus when choosing this one over other choices. Other reviews on other sites indicated it was a great purchase when I started doing my research on.
