Questions & Answers

When I close my left eye, will I be able to see?

Objects in the left hand corner do not appear to exist unless you look at them... You should use the right eye to see objects on the right side... The object must be straight above your head in order for you to see it.

This will be the first time I purchase something like this for my son so we can both observe the night sky together. Is it easy to set up?/How long does it take to setup?

Beginners will really enjoy this scope because it is easy to set up and build. It has been mentioned that the included tripod is small and does not provide a lot of stability. As long as it is used at the rear, on the hood, or somewhere else fully retracted, it is okay. A Celestron 7 was the telescope I used to test it. It has been mentioned that the included tripod is small and does not provide a lot of stability. As long as it is used at the rear, on the hood, or somewhere else fully retracted, it is okay. A Celestron 7 was the telescope I used to test it. When the moon is clearly visible, it will still be able to resolve the rings of Saturn from a 5MM eyepiece and a 2x barlow lens. I was pleasantly surprised because it is not designed for such magnification, but usually inexpensive scopes with basic lenses usually do not live up to their billing. You might want to wait until you have practice focusing, finding objects in the sky, and purchasing a tripod before you try that. Although the highest power eyepieces, which you should only think about if you are viewing planets, are capable of seeing really small objects due to their 400mm focal length, so you need to keep that in mind. The cheapest toy you can buy at a local discount store is 40-50 dollars, and this is way better. It is comparable to the Orion 76mm Fun Scope, which is also a good option. The table top adapter is meant only for tabletop use, but thanks to its swivel function, it is easy to angle up and down. Despite this, the images do not appear as crisp in my opinion since it is a reflector. There is a direct correlation between how good the tripod or mounting is, and the quality of a telescope. It's hard to find a better scope for the price than this one. The Orions belt, Jupiter, Saturn, the Moon, and star clusters such as the double cluster and the Pleiades are some of the objects I see with this telescope regardless of my other telescopes. I have added an inexpensive laser object finder (similar to the Celestron Star Finder) instead of a largely useless viewfinder in an already long answer. In addition, it takes very little modification to attach it to the scope tube or tape it on with foam tape so you can easily point the scope at whatever you are trying to view. You will be able to thank your son for this!

I understand that any tripod should be able to work as a tripod for photography. Then I should be able to screw my tripod into my telescope, right?

The answer is yes. A lot of people have mentioned the flimsiness of the tripod that comes with the telescope. At the bottom of the telescope are a couple of screw holes. Thanks to the detachable head on my other tripod, I was able to attach the telescope to it.

When used for bird watching, can this scope be used as a spotting scope?

It is an excellent place to watch birds. The 20x lens is fine for a closer view. At 40x (long distance), you may want a stronger tripod, and if it's daylight, look through the smaller 42mm hole (take off the little cap) in the dust cap, and that will improve the sharpness. Buy a spotting scope with a wide field of view and high performance if you need a better scope. The eyepieces have a focal length of around 15 mm (super-plossol, etc. ).

In the end, it achieves exactly what it was designed for
5/5

People expect the Hubble Telescope results to appear in these reviews, but I don't understand why As soon as it's connected, everything works as intended In pretty good focus, it creates the illusion that the moon is a large marble a few inches your eye away It is easy to see some craters on the Moon, but you cannot see Niel Armstrong's footsteps As with a tree that has been cut in half, you can see Saturn's rings, but not count them The reason some individuals have unrealistic expectations for something that costs less than $100, I am not sure The scope is a great beginner scope for kids and amateurs I bought this for my 7-year-old son, who has shown interest in the Cosmos over the years He will have more chances later, and I will also pass this on to his younger siblings if he really gets into it The scope is light without requiring a heavy frame for right now The frame is light, but the scope does not require a very heavy frame right now Basically, 'scope' holds the scope of the project, which is what it's designed for This package came with all the pieces, as well as a backpack so you can take it on trips so you won't have to buy a separate case to carry it in a car or on foot is able to perform the task it was intended to perform At a modest price, this is a great way for kids and amateurs to see nature, go to a long distance shooting range, discover the stars a bit better, and do anything else that is legal Whenever you want to see a nebula, and if you have a few thousand dollars to spare, buy this kind of telescope A great telescope for beginners and kids with real expectations, this is a great telescope for the average person You are well advised to invest if you are not sure whether you would like to invest a large amount of money to see footprints on the moon I hope you are well!

This is an amazing telescope at such an incredible price
5/5

As a result of the high quality of the telescope, I got this for my dad, and he thought I paid a lot! The backpack that it comes in has room for other stuff as well, so you can also take other items in there This worked really well! I didn't get a picture of it all put together, but it is fantastic! They are such a steal for the quality they offer and the price they charge You haven't read this far; if you appreciate it and if this help you at all, be sure to click "helpful"!

The moon doesn't need to be reached by rocket
5/5

I think it's a great deal at this price! As a birthday present for my grandfather, I gave him this telescope The stars are always visible to him while he is outside on the patio at night, so I decided it was time to give him the gift he has always desired but never had This is a great scope for beginners! The moon almost looks like it could be grasped by you when the scope is properly focused and the moon is in focus What a wonderful article!
