It is determined by the magnification. It includes a one-year warranty. With a 25-inch lens (48x) and a Barlow, you can get up to 96x magnification. Because of its six-inch diameter, the scope can handle up to 300x magnification. Jupiter and four of its moons can be seen clearly with the lenses provided. I'd be surprised if you couldn't see the storm on a clear night with higher magnification. To be honest, you won't find a better scope for the price and value. The 8inch has a maximum magnification of around 400x, but I preferred the 6inch's mobility. I haven't looked for Saturn yet, but I believe I will need to purchase a few more lenses in order to see it clearly.
Yes, I've been using one on mine for the past year.
It includes the stand shown in the photo. It's a fantastic setup with excellent stability.
Although the scope does not take pictures, you can attach a camera to it and take stunning photographs.

This is a bad product made by an even worse company. Because the EZ finder could only go so far down, it couldn't align with the items. It's fine if all you want to do is gaze at the moon, but good luck if you want to gaze at other planets! br>br>I bought it from the manufacturer on Amazon and informed them of the problem. The first thing they did was try to align it with a nearby roof top. Please pardon my intrusion. I didn't buy it to peer through the windows of my neighbors. If the part doesn't dip far enough, I won't be able to align it with distant planets, and adding a roof down the road won't help. Setting it to a large item nearby rather than a dot in the sky is obviously more convenient. br>br>When I pointed out that their suggestion wouldn't actually solve the problem, I received another response that was basically a copy and paste of the item's description. I'm aware of the item's nature! br>br>I was going to return it, but I didn't have time to ship it back before the return window closed. Save your money and go with a company that genuinely wants your business and produces a quality product. br>br>.
Having a real telescope had always been a childhood dream of mine and my husband's. For neither of us as children, the dream was never realized. Our 6-year-old has been interested in space since he was a toddler, and he requested a telescope for Christmas this year. We decided to live vicariously through our 6-year-old by purchasing a telescope for all of us for Christmas. Before deciding that this was the right place for us, I did a lot of research. There are no regrets in my life! It's extremely simple to use, and the view of the moon is breathtaking! I've been reading and watching videos about how to use a telescope and specific tips for this particular model ever since we ordered it. I've figured out how to collimate on my own and feel pretty comfortable doing so. A moon filter, a solar filter, a universal adapter for my DSLR camera, and a cellphone mount were among the items I purchased. The combination of a cell phone and a telescope is ideal for sharing the experience with children. They may find it difficult to look through the eyepiece. I really like how transportable this thing is. In terms of portability, I don't mind its size, and I intend to use it on camping trips this summer. We are extremely pleased with our purchase.
This was given to my daughter as a Christmas gift. It's so dark that I can't see anything. It was a huge waste of time for me because I'm not a pro, but it looks nice in my living room.
This one is going to be great for stargazing. EDIT: br>br> Some items were initially missing, but they were delivered after a few days.
This telescope is ideal for viewing galaxies and nebulae in your backyard or on your deck, and it will fit in a SUV for road trips to camp sites away from city lights to get the best views.
Our 18-year-old son is interested in and learning about astronomy, so we gave him this telescope. He had it up and running in one afternoon, and he was stargazing that evening. Great value and, according to our research, the right type of telescope for a fairly advanced beginner.
Beginners will love it.
I'm having a lot of fun with my new first scope, and I'm already thinking about getting a second one. It's hard to stop.
