The first part of this includes. With a 25" rack and pinion focuser, two Sirius Ploschl 1's were used. This system includes a 25" eyepiece, a 6x30 right-angle correct-image finder scope, an eyepiece rack, a collimation cap, and Starry Night software.

Questions & Answers

When the telescope is pointed at an object, does it automatically point around it? Are you able to manually make your way through the computer or does the computer simply assist you?

Computers can assist in finding an object. After you enter the object, the computer gives you two coordinates for the object. Moving your telescope until the coordinates line up is the next step.

The only downside is that I would not repurchase the intelliscope, but I love the rest of the product

I like this telescope, it has been great, but if I had it to do all over again, I would not buy the It has been hard on the Intelliscope to deal with the cold. Aside from that, I'm in love with.

The telescope is wonderful

It cost me 100 dollars to buy it used from a thrift store. My eyesight is blurred a little, but I am amazed at the views I get from it of the planets and moon. It often needs an eyepiece or a cleaning. Having a 6 inch aperture is just at the top of what I think is manageable, so I think the tradeoff between size and weight is ideal. This telescope offers some fantastic views of the solar system if you use it with the proper collimation and eyepiece.
