As we are seated in the 2nd balcony at the Keller in Portland, these are used when we watch musical theatre there. It is great to see the actors' faces even though we are on a budget when we go to the theatre!.
Well I have been looking for a compact binocular to take to ball games, concerts, and hikes for such a long time. I do not have to carry large and bulky binoculars. A good fit can be found with the little pairs. Though they might be small, they can hold a lot of power! My favorite part about them is that I could throw them in my bag without worrying about room or extra weight. They come with a soft cleaning cloth and a case, so I could keep them in the case when not in use. I'm really in love with the color and the design. I was surprised at how good they appear to be!.
A friend of mine was saying that it was good to see Phantom in NYC during a 3 day trip and my daughter asked me if she could get a pair of opera glasses to wear. It was the price and their appearance that drew me to them they arrived the next day. The chain and bag were a big hit with her. Her play was made entirely with them. They were light enough for her to use them the entire time. Her words described a feeling of being in front of a crowd. I found them to be easy to use and convenient to transport. I would recommend them to my son even though we just use binoculars and scopes.
I'd never describe it as a toy. All in all, I purchased three of them, one for myself, one for my daughter, and one for Having them in my bag at all times is nice to have when seated pretty far from a play. We all like them very much and find them useful when sitting quite a distance from a play. The original pair have been in my collection for over a year now, and I have taken them to several A pair of shoes for my sister will most likely be next!.

It was just a matter of hoping the power would allow me to do so. It's well made and pretty to look at. Just thinking how the power might allow me to be able to see cast members from the less expensive seats in the theater was enough to get me excited. I need a little more power for my needs, but I will find a way to make it fun.
