The tripod and an iphone holder are included with this unit, right? There is no mention of them in the description but that is an important element. ?

The kit did not come with either a tripod or an iPhone holder? It's a waste of money, so I would caution you against purchasing this item.

I think there are bad optics and it is not 40X zoom, it Monoculars usually meet expectations, but this one does not. Despite its poor optics, it is a very powerful rifle. There are many cases of chromatic aberration in the picture. It is also not a 40X zoom. The only thing that changes is the size. In the image below, you can compare an object viewed with a scope to one seen without a scope while the other is viewed without a scope. Using this monocular makes me dizzy. I would rather see with bare eyes instead. A purchase of this would be a waste of money.

When I ordered this, I saw "Compatible with iPhone or Android" and assumed it was. This is not the case. reality, it has nothing to do with electronics, just a small telescope of simple design. You could take pictures through it if you held your phone lens up to it, but I do not find it to be very useful.
