Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Students and hobbyists can examine biological specimens, rocks, stamps, jewelry, and large specimens that require handling or manipulation with a stereo microscope for use at home or in the classroom.
Binocular viewing head with interchangeable pairs of 10x and 20x widefield eyepieces, adjustable interpupillary distance, and 45-degree inclination to help young users see better.
Low magnification and a longer focal length are provided by interchangeable 2x and 4x objectives when inspecting large-scale specimens.
The specimens are illuminated by a 10W halogen light source on both the upper and lower levels.
With transparent specimens, a frosted stage plate allows light to pass through from below, while a reversible black and white stage plate provides contrast with light and dark-colored specimens. Stage clips keep the specimen in place during viewing.
Widefield stereo magnification settings of 20X-40X-80X are available.
Lights that are both incident (on top) and transmitted (on the bottom).
Metal framework supports a sturdy pillar stand.
Binocular head with a wide field of view that faces backwards

Questions & Answers

Do you have a digital microscope? Is it possible to connect it to a PC or an iPad?

Yes, it is possible. You must purchase an AMScope Camera. Contact the AMScope support team, who are extremely helpful.

Is there a way to change the eye pieces without having to open the case? I'm unable to remove the 10X pieces that were installed when the scope arrived and replace them with 20x pieces! ?

"(2) Replace the eyepieces if you want to increase the magnification level. Remove the screws on the underside of the eyetubes with a small phillips head screw driver. Then, without touching the lenses, slide the eyepieces out of the eyetubes. Replace the screws with new ones and replace the eyepieces. "br>According to the user guide

Is it possible to use this to see microscopic organisms, such as bacteria? What the hell are tardigrades?

No, this is a dissecting microscope, which is used to examine macroorganisms.

What is the difference between magnification and objective? I'm looking for something for coins (5-10) and I'm not sure what to look for. sixty times)?

In general, a microscope has two lenses: the objective, which is located near the specimen, and the eye piece, which is located at the top. The magnification power of each lens is different. Simply multiply the two numbers to get the total magnification. Eyepieces with a magnification of 10x can be found on this microscope. Eyepieces with a magnification of 20x and a magnification of 2x are available 4 times the goals With the 10x eyepieces, you get a total of 20x magnification. The 40x eyepiece provides 40 and 80 power magnifications, while the 20x eyepiece provides 40 and 80 power magnifications. This unit would be ideal for coins, in my opinion. It's what I use to look at circuit boards.

A fantastic microscope at a fantastic price! After visiting the Botanical Gardens in New York City, I became interested in buying a microscope
4/5

There was a room set up with two microscopes, and as soon as one became available, I started looking through the lens at plants and rocks, and my eyes were opened to a whole new world of details. I went home and looked online for a similar scope, but they were all over a thousand dollars, so I took a chance on this microscope for around 150 dollars, expecting the worst but hoping for the best. What I got was a well-written letter. made a product that looked and felt like it cost a lot more, and the optical quality was excellent. I noticed details in a penny that I had never noticed before, such as Abraham Lincoln sitting in a chair at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D. C. br>br>The built-in light aids in the illumination of the object beneath the lens, enhancing the details. Because placing the object or lowering and raising the lens to get the best viewing perspective becomes a little tricky at 80x, I prefer to use 20x or 40x.

This is the ideal scope for inspecting coins! This is primarily for inspecting coins for known flaws up close! For this, it's ideal
5/5

The only suggestion I have is that the halogen bulbs provided be replaced with LEDs. When you're working under the lens moving the subject around, the halogens get extremely hot, and if you touch the light fixture underneath by accident, it'll burn you to a crisp! Aside from that, this is a well-made scope that does exactly what I need it to do!.

I didn't notice in the image that the binocular lenses were pointing toward the back of the microscope (a Rear-View Microscope)
5/5

For my needs, I needed a mounted binocular stereo microscope, which would have been cumbersome and difficult to use. Because the design is so modular, it was simple to flip the binoculars around by removing a few screws and flipping the head 180 degrees, making it a Forward-Mounted Binocular Stereo Microscope.

I'm glad I made the purchase
5/5

This dissecting scope is particularly beloved by the 6-year-old daughter, who is very proud of her ability to operate it. The rest of the family feels the same way. After discovering the limitations of a regular microscope for magnifying the big, chunky things the kids REALLY want to see up close, I decided to purchase this. So, for our science program, we now have a microscope and a dissecting scope, which I am grateful for. If you can afford it, I strongly advise you to purchase both. In my mind, I justified the purchase because 1) science is extremely important in our homeschool, and 2) they will be used for years to come. even through college, and 3) I've heard that scopes retain their value, so if I need to, I should be able to re-purchase them. Later, you'll be able to resell them for a profit.

Electronics has a lot of potential
5/5

I recently invested in an AmScope Binocular Stereo Dissecting Microscope to inspect and repair electronic circuit boards. For that purpose, this item is ideal. It allows me to identify and repair minor circuit board flaws. It also enables me to solder very small surface mount components, which would be nearly impossible to do otherwise. I like having the stage at the back of the scope because it allows me to solder without the optics getting in the way. AmScope 1 was also a purchase. To use with the scope, I used a 3MP USB2 Microscope Digital Camera, which worked flawlessly. I can relax in my chair and monitor everything on my computer. I can also take photos and/or video to demonstrate how to perform certain repairs to others. Overall, this is a lovely piece of equipment that I would strongly recommend to anyone who works with electronic circuit boards and components.

This order was delivered on time and in perfect condition, which was a huge plus
5/5

It couldn't have been wrapped any more beautifully. The only issue I had was that I ordered a microscope with the work platform on the back side of the support post, so I returned it and replaced it with one with the work stage on the near side, and the order was taken and shipped perfectly. Amazon's service has exceeded my expectations. Bart.

The kids were completely engrossed in the activity

This particular model was purchased by me - 3 for each of the four sixth-grade classes - as a result of a chemistry professor's recommendation, I went to the U. br>br>I'm trying to figure out how to get more kids interested in science and interested in pursuing careers in it. They were mind-blowing. br>br> They were astounded by what they could do with these microscopes, and they never seemed to tire of discovering new applications for them.

Nice stereo microscope with a variety of options
5/5

I use the microscope to look at coins, but it can be used for anything. br> While I was pleased with the stereo microscope, I believe the pdf downloadable manual could have been improved.
