Questions & Answers
Yes, each of the six sides is padded.
I'm not sure if it's made specifically for a particular telescope. It was purchased to help me pack and transport my Celestron NexStar 8SE Telescope's tripod and accessories. It serves its purpose well, but I would prefer more effective padding. All of my belongings are kept in sturdy plastic food containers that fit neatly into this bag. I wouldn't use it to transport more delicate items like a telescope's optical tube or arm. I use a Celestron Case to store and transport my optical tube and arm. IT IS EXPENSIVE, but it ensures that the equipment is properly protected.
It certainly ought to. My Skywatcher 150 Mak Cass optical tube, red/green dot finder, and laser pointer are all transported in mine. There's also room for the 8x50 finder scope, but I don't use it very often. To fit my needs for that scope, I added my own custom padding. My tripod and mount are Twilight 1, but they won't fit in the bag with the OTA. I hope this has been of assistance.
I'm not sure what scope you're referring to, but the tripod and a few accessories for my Nextstar 8SE are the only things I use it for. My tube and mount are kept in their own hard case. This is a simple bag with a simple design. There are no pockets, flaps, or other frills on the inside of this bag. Construction is well-made and durable.

It's a nice bag for the money, but it lacks the inner straps and the adjustable Velcro panels that the product description claims. It does include a shoulder strap. The bag's size corresponds to the description, and it includes the additional accessory bag. The Celestron Astromaster 130 can be used with a tripod and an equatorial mount. If you remove the weights from the mount, they might fit. In any case, it's preferable to use some kind of inner padding to keep the tube from rubbing against the tripod (I'm thinking a towel will suffice).
Update: You can see how cheap the bag is by looking at the photo I uploaded. Because there are no wrinkles in the ad, it appears that the bag has enough padding to keep its shape. The bag I was sent has wrinkles, and if it didn't have any when it arrived, it would definitely have them if I was carrying a telescope inside and hanging it over my shoulder. What a waste of time, I'm so annoyed. Now I have to go pick it up and return it. It would be preferable if the seller provided actual photographs. br>br>Amazon shipped the bag rolled up, which should give you an idea of how thin the padding is. This thing is flimsy and won't protect you from anything. br>br>Invest an extra $100 in a higher-quality case or bag, such as the Stellarvue. Putting a good telescope in this bag is simply not worth the risk. This is being returned to you.
This bag will be used to transport my telescope's tripod and other accessories. br>The image on Amazon is slightly deceptive, making the bag appear stronger and more padded than it is. br>I would not transport the telescope or arm in this bag. br>Both the Optical Tube and the Arm do not fit securely into the bag.
This bag was purchased to house my Celestron telescope's tripod. It seemed to be well constructed. I couldn't use my telescope until recently because of cloudy skies. The zipper began to lose teeth the second time I used it. The bag has served its purpose. br>br>The bag appears to be of good quality, is well padded, and is the right size, but the quality is poor. This is a product that I do not recommend.
This bag arrived in the mail, and I intend to use it to transport my telescope or tripod. The bag is fantastic and exactly what I expected. I'd give it a four out of five. If I could, I'd give it a five-star rating. I wish there was more padding and tie downs on the inside. I bought some extra foam and velcro straps that worked perfectly for securing my equipment during transport.
The bag is well padded to protect my Celestron 6SE tripod and other miscellaneous items (all of which fit comfortably). The durability of the item is unknown, but it appears to be well constructed. Although interior straps would have been preferable, the tripod appears to be secure enough with the exterior straps. The item arrived on time and exactly as described by the seller.
This is a sturdy bag that fits my Celestron Nexstar 127SLT telescope, all of its accessories, and a large metal box full of extra eyepieces perfectly. They're a little jumbled in the bag because there aren't any compartments. If this is a concern for you, you'll most likely need to purchase additional padding.
This works extremely well with some additional padding between the scope and the dew shield extension. It would be preferable to use an Orion case, but these are no longer available in this size. This appears to be sufficient. It meets my expectations.
