Questions & Answers

Is a Nikon D750 and possibly a couple of lenses going to fit?

The size of the Nikon D750 is unfamiliar to me. The Pelican 1200 case is only seven inches long. 25" x 9. 5" in diameter and 3" in depth. The bodies of my Nikon D7000 and D71000 DSLR cameras are nearly 4" tall each. For the camera body to fit in this case, I'd have to lay it on its back (without the lens attached). br>If I put one of those camera bodies in this case, neither of the lenses I use with them would fit: 70300mm or 18200mm are the two options. In fact, even if I just put the lens in by itself, I might not be able to get either of those lenses into the case. br>I've tried to use only about half of the interior volume in each of these cases as a general rule. As a result, on all sides of the equipment, the foam will provide the protection that was intended. And based on that criterion, I wouldn't put anything in this case that was larger than 3. 5" x 4. The total volume is 5" x 2". Otherwise, the items you store inside will be too close to one another or to the sides to be adequately protected. br>Compare the sizes of all the cases offered by Pelican by visiting their website. As the cases become available on Amazon, not all of the sizes are listed. It's difficult to compare sizes when there are so many. I drew out the dimensions on a piece of paper (even overlapping them) to see how much surface area they'd cover, then compared them to the equipment I wanted to put in them to figure out what size I needed to order. Unless you remove the foam inserts, I don't see how you could get a full-sized DSLR style camera in this case unless you're talking about a small "point and shoot" size camera with interchangeable lenses. And that would only serve as a moisture barrier.

Is it true that I have a large number of accessories? Is this an appropriate case for them to use? Is it true that I own a GoPro Hero 3 camera?

For that, it's ideal. In my case, it holds the camera with all of the backs(03), as well as a dive case with all of the backs(3), a black out case with all of the backs(3), an LCD touchback with all of the case backs(6), an extension pole, flat base, attachment joints, cables, a rollbar mount, bicycle mount, NVG mount, floaty back, and one or two others that I can't recall right now. If you have the large accessories like the chesty,

I plan on storing LiPo batteries in this case. Will it be able to withstand an internal fire, or will it fail?

I fly jet aircraft for a living, and I'm well aware that containing an internal battery fire caused by a runaway battery is a disaster that necessitates a quick descent and landing. Our multi-thousand-dollar battery containers on board may not even be able to contain such a thing for more than a few minutes, even if it is small. br>You'll need a much more durable container, which will set you back thousands of dollars; all you have to do now is be aware of what you're dealing with when using these batteries. Knowing that a runaway is possible is half the battle, and putting it on an open piece of concrete until it runs its course is your best bet. br>I'm glad to hear that some people are aware of the potential of a desastor with these new batteries; you should see what people bring on board our planes without even thinking about it. (Yes, everything appears to be innocuous, and there is no one to properly inform them.) ) At the very least, you're aware of the situation.

Is this pelican equipped with gopro camera mounts?

It does not come pre-cut, but rather as a large block of foam that can be easily modified. For my GoPro and gear, it worked out perfectly. I would strongly suggest it.

YES! In this Pelican 1200 case, you'll find both sidearms with magazines! This 1200 case is the ideal size not only for one firearm, but also for two with magazines! (For concealed carry, it must be of a reasonable size
5/5

) You can't store them next to each other, but you can stack both firearms and two magazines in two layers of protection on top of each other! Both of my sidearms fit perfectly in this case. I used a razor knife to cut the Pick N'Pluck foam in half horizontally and replaced the original bottom foam with one that was a little thinner (about 3/8" thick). Then, on top of that, one-half of the Pick N'Pluck foam fits my S. W M& With room to spare, the P Shield 9mm fits perfectly with two magazines. My Glock 17 9mm and two mags fit perfectly with another 3/8" foam separator and the second half of Pick N'Pluck foam on top. @@ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Alternatively, I could swap the Glock and S. From top to bottom, it's a W that works in both directions. Both firearms are completely protected from damage, scratches, and wear by foam. This is a fantastic case! It's well-made and durable. It has a long lifespan. The TSA has given their approval! There's no way to go wrong with this case! If you want room for magazines, nothing bigger than a Glock 17 will suffice. GET ONE! br>JUST GET ONE!.

If you want to keep your firearms safe, this is the case to get
5/5

Don't hesitate to use this case to keep your firearms safe while you're on the road. Check out the photos; I've got a Glock 17 with magazine inserted, a box of defensive ammo, a flashlight, and a 21 round Magpul PMAG all packed in there snugly, but there's still room for one more gun! Only about half of the depth of this box is occupied by the items I have. You can use a thin layer of foam to separate another pistol or similar layout underneath what I've shown. You'll have to get creative and find some thin foam that isn't included in the box, but it's certainly doable in a way that won't scratch the guns. I chose the ABUS 64TI/30 2-based on another review. PACK locks are used to secure the outside, and despite their small size (3/16"), they are extremely well made and leave very little wiggle room on the shackle. This will be my flying setup, and I believe it is very safe. Sure, the locks can be broken or the plastic can be cut around, but this is just a deterrent, not a $2,000 safe.

It'll be the last lunchbox you ever own
5/5

I purchased the Pelican 1200 as a replacement carrier for the groceries I like to cram down my throat at work. With my last two carriers, I had a series of mishaps involving poor visibility, my car, a mannequin, and a three-lock washer. Explanation is difficult. But I swore I'd never do it again, so I went on the hunt for something more durable and accident-proof. My potted meat will be transported in comfort. The Pelican 1200 is ready to take on the world. perfect size for carrying lunchables, indestructible construction that ensures it will outlast your children's children, waterproof sealing to keep the smell of your week-long vacation at bay The old fish will not escape to kill others, and it is completely lockable to keep your prized ham sandwich safe. My only regret is that I did not purchase one that was slightly larger and could hold my stainless tumbler and food.

A Nikon D-SLR camera was purchased
5/5

Works great with 40 and accessories! This case was purchased to house my Nikon D40 and accessories. It was delivered promptly and in good condition. When it comes to the case, with a DSLR: br>br>Though everything is crammed in, I was able to squeeze in: My D- Nikon 18-55mm lens, Nikon 40 camera body Sigma 70-200mm lens, 55mm focal length Two memory cards, a 300mm lens, a charger, and a cable Everything is surrounded by a half-inch border, and the camera's top compresses the top foam, making it snug but secure and safe, and less bulky than a larger case. It comes highly recommended!.

This is a fantastic case for pistols that have four barrels
5/5

The barrel is 5" long! For pistols with a caliber of 4. This is a true work of art with a 5" barrel. You have just enough room in the 1200 case for your pistol with magazine inserted, and one more magazine. First, you spend some time carefully "picking and plucking" out your outline with perforated blocks, then get out your hot glue gun. Attach the modified foam to the base foam using a glue gun. Then, using the foam you selected and a hot glue gun, carefully create a second layer of foam inside the cutout that matches the cutout shape and glue it to the base foam. This means that when you're finished, the gun will sit upright on the table, as it should. Don't worry if you make a mistake with the outline; you can just hot glue a block back in here and there if necessary. I followed these steps, and as you can see in the photo, the results are fantastic; in my opinion, there is no better gun case on the market. A word of caution to those who want to use this for a 5" barrel pistol: there won't be much, if any, foam on the two sides, which means there won't be any shock protection in those directions. I would recommend going up a size if you have a 5" barrel. This is the ticket if you're under 5 feet tall!.

What can I say, it's a pelican
5/5

Top . What can I say, it's a pelican. All of the construction is of the highest quality. br>br>I was able to fit a Sony A6000 camera with three lenses and two batteries inside, but it was a tight fit. br>br>It's also a plus that I can remove the foam and use it as a pistol case when I'm on the road.
