A chemical smell/bad perfume odor bothered me and I kept this case hoping to get rid of them. I tried airing it out, the baking soda, dryer sheets, and I even put it in a plastic bag to try and get rid of the smell, but nothing worked. The Amazon return window has already closed, so I have no choice but to return my purchase. My personal items would not smell good if it was applied to them. I would not recommend or use it. There will be no recycling of this. Additionally, the strap doesn't match the case, and both the zipper and the strap get stuck sometimes. it had been sent back and I could have given it a half star rating instead. I can see how it is cheap considering how terrible it is.

I hate the chemical smell it gives off. My attempt to get it to work has so far been spraying it with air freshener, body spray, and I'm having it sitting at home with a car freshener inside it right now. Nevertheless, it has to go back if it does not go away. It's perfect in size and for its intended use. However, if it continues to smell this bad, I will have to stop traveling with it. A quick update A couple of weeks later, I had to return it. That smell was impossible to eliminate with any amount of effort, and I couldn't imagine carrying it around in my carryon bag.

That's literally true. This update was published on December 19th, I like the color of it so far, but that's about it. There is an unbearable odor in the air. I'd compare it to the smell of death, but the smell of decomposing roadkill would be significantly better! It was sprayed with Lysol on the inside and I am hoping at the very least it will dampen the odor, if not it will definitely be returned. It would be nice if I could store my tiny printer in a zip shut bag so I wouldn't have to smell that whenever I used

Aside from the smell, the inside is soft, and there is more than enough space for the charger cable and a couple of packs of paper inside. However, there isn't enough room on the board for a USB port. The case doesn't feel or look durable. If you're planning to use it while traveling, you might want to get padded carrying case or switch to another model. Hopefully the smell can be overcome and I will update when that is accomplished. A RECENT UPDATE In order to get the smell down to a tolerable level, I had to drown the case in lysol and febreeze and then let it air out for a week. An extra pack of paper fits very well in the compartment with my sprocket, cable and cable. If I want to fit more paper, I can probably do so however, I don't want to risk damaging the paper.

I liked that it would keep the printer in place in the event I or someone else happened to open it upside down and risk it Although it was a little bigger than I expected, and the printer is supposed to fit in the middle, this model does unfortunately have a large excess space. The reason for this is that it's universal, so I guess I understand why it's It's not clear how well it'll protect against shock due to the fact that the outside is a little soft, but as long as you don't act like Casey Neistat and throw it around like a barbarian, then it ought to be okay. There is no hard plastic covering on the outside, it has a highly tactile, soft leathery feel. This was a red one to go with.

The product is very fashionable, and very useful, as it protects prints from most falls and can easily hold extra packs of paper or the charging cord in the extra pocket. However, only one thing is bad about this product its smell! It is so sickening that the chemicals used on it are so strong. It's been a month or two since I got the case and I was hoping the smell would fade, but so far This is not a product I would recommend for someone sensitive to these things, and for a gift I would not recommend it. It's a bit of a silver lining that at least the things that come into contact with it don't To put it more plainly, there was no transfer of the order.

Exactly what I've been looking for to protect my Canon Ivy. The package contains a printer and extra packs of paper, as well as its change cable. It does have a strong smell, but that's its only downside. I guess you could call it a cologne sort of thing It might seem like, but it might also be chemical. There's been no change since I got this case a week ago. There is still a faint smell, but it has faded. Over the course of a few days, I had the case on display. There is a bit of a smell from the printer now as well. This is amazing! Eventually, I hope the headache will go away. It doesn't bother me so much that I'm smell sensitive, but it does bother me a bit. If you're sensitive to smells, I would probably recommend this case to you not. I should have known it would work as well as it did!.
