This might not be enough to cover large cameras and lenses, but it's far better than nothing! I use ordinary straps as backups for the regular strap and strap mount, not as primary straps for cameras attached to tripods or remotely controlled heads
3/5

These cameras only have a 1/4" wide strap instead of the usual 3/8" strap found on most cameras. There seems to be a weakness in the metal used in the small locking rings. Considering that a pro or prosumer body and telephoto lens combination can weigh several pounds, I am not comfortable with these as backups. The safety straps would be fine if you have a minimalist rig so that you wouldn't need backup straps. Also, if you wanted to attach an accessory such as a battery / card holder or cap clip, the straps would be useful. In the instructions, neither the strap nor the stitching or the clamps are given a load rating. There is a lot of fidgeting with the locking ring. It would be better if the clip was of good quality.

The best thing that has ever happened to me! I had an issue with the safety strap, but it Investing $750 to prevent the purchase of a $3,000 camera body and a $2,500 lens isn't a bad idea
5/5

This kind of safety strap has been in my possession for years and I haven't used it until a month Over the course of the day, the hasp split open. As soon as I felt the camera drop, I knew what was going on I caught the safety strap as it went around my waist My eye was on the other camera as I was focusing it. It paid off for me to buy cheap insurance!.

Equally split
3/5

A while back, I ordered these and one of them worked great, and another could not. My attempt with pliers even resulted in a smashed finger. There is no way to accomplish this. The company shipped a new set to replace the old one. As I expected, I only got a replacement for the one that wasn't functioning, but I'm glad they sent two instead, because one of the replacements didn't operate either, same issue. Two of them work, however, and they're both good. imagined that I would actually need these and just thought I'd get some peace of mind out of it. But a few months later I really needed these. It appears that my BR harness attachment to the 70-80 came unscrewed The 200 mm lens I had and walking through a gravel parking lot flooded with rain drops at a wedding I was shooting were both struck by a heavy jerk, but thanks to one of these little suckers, I did not drop anything. I would buy them I'd just like to let you know that only 50% of what I received was great, and the other 50% was useless.

Accident protection in addition to other measures
5/5

In case my shoulder strap gives out, I purchased this as a backup. A similar lock is on my husband's camera since he has an uncanny skill for pressing the release button while shooting. The way he does that I have no idea! Due to the fact that we are currently independent Since I have not been able to test this product in Costa Rica, where we planned to go today, I consider myself isolated. I have always been satisfied with my purchases from Digital Goja, and feel confident that anything I get from them will meet my expectations or exceed them.

The tether is excellent
5/5

A tether can be easily attached to and detached from a camera strap, as it is the right length. An insurance plan like this is well worth the money if you have a camera of Moreover, I can also imagine several other uses for this little tether in photography.

A screw-in tether is used in these situations A carabiner of this type gives me an extra level of assurance that my $3,000 camera will not fall out
5/5

A screw-in tether is used in these situations It provides me extra assurance that the quick release plate to which my hand grip is attached will fail and my $3000 camera won't crash to the ground in the event it accidentally becomes unscrewed and separates from the bottom of the camera body (yes, that does happen).

Your camera strap is covered by insurance
5/5

Blackrapids, but this works with any strap, as long as it is not connected to the normal strap holders of the camera. In the event that the attachment breaks or comes loose, your camera will not hit the deck. Alternatively, use the full size adjustable buckle clamp for the black rapids strap to prevent the entire strap from coming loose. A tripod's legs are easy to put on and take off.

Gear that weighs a lot is a must-have! Having recently purchased a BlackRapid Sport and Canon 7D along with these safety straps, I have been using the products on a Canon 150-mm and a Sigma 150-mm lens A 600mm lens
5/5

The BlackRapid has held my camera securely in place on several trips out shooting, and I am 100% satisfied with this product. Hopefully, it will not loosen, but if it does, the safety straps will prevent Wearing them is easy, and they do not get in the way. As a backup connector, this is a must-have!.
