The exception is. Despite knowing it's not fair to say "This product isn't going to work for this use case most people don't have", I'll nevertheless do so to highlight a very important issue. As a photographer, I document the world around me. I have to use a lighting controller sometimes, which means I need to use a studio controller. In other words, that controller needs to fit my system. At least with the A7R4 cage, how is the fitting on this? Keeps such a thing from happening. The A7R4 cage does not have enough screws for the hardpoints, so I cannot just move it to the side to handle it. Here is what we can do to improve it. Among them, 1 You should build one to include some of the largest full-time employees A number of integration strobe controllers, like the Flashpoint R2, are available on the market. To get around the overhang, you'll have to get creative. In either case One that lets you rotate it 90 degrees is the best. I mean it. It would be great if I could just take the handle and turn it 90 degrees so I could use it as a side grip. It would even be great if you made it modular, so you could buy the grip, then purchase an addon to add wiring. As well, you have a bunch of other grips, but they're oversized and overpriced(a grip shouldn't cost as much as a cage). I think this one is the right price, however it does not have the right feature Your efforts for this one are almost complete.
The only downside is that it is very small/short. The handles on the SmallRig cages and covers are excellent. that bothers me about it is that the handle is quite short/small compared to the others. There is quite a bit of hand real estate in this tool. Which matches my Sony cameras, though if you need more hand real estate, check the dimensions first. This tool has a magnetic allen screw In addition, it's sturdy and in good shape.
My only criticism is that the Allen key does not snugly fit the screw into the drawer, so it slips when adding/removing.
It fits perfectly on my Canon six or six small rib cage and does the job as well as it should. The fact that it can be mounted on the camera in a variety of ways according to how you wish to hold it is very convenient to me.
I really like the setup of the smallrig. I really like the fact that you can slide the handle so that it sits however you want it to. The handle can be used as a side handle or as a top Thanks to the ability to adjust the rig to a specific application, I love it. It's nice to have the magnetic hex key to store the tool as well.
The bolt heads have stripped after being tightened for about five to seven times There are sessions in which the tension is untightened. Having removed it, I will have to use pliers to remove the rest.
A disadvantage of this product is that the handle is too long, preventing it from getting a full 5 stars. There is room for attachments, however I would prefer if it were a little longer. It's solid and it has a lot of space for attachments.
The handle is just the right size. It is strong and comfortable. The mounts are very useful - thanks A great feature is the magnetic slot on the right side of the handle, which holds the Allen key. I love the fact that there is one in the front and you can use it to support the screen of a small rig monitor.
