It is the ideal starting point for transforming your A6400 into a miniature Flexible mounting options with many mounting points to choose from. There are a few configurations I have for my rig, and this cage makes it easy to switch between them. Also, I like the rails that allow me to mount the camera to my small tripod when not rigged out for full-length shots. The screw hole in the bottom of the piece has stripped on me, which is a negative. Additionally, there is a sharp point where the cold shoe mount is on the right so I used a dremel to sand off that point since there is a strap there as well (also from a The cage has slits for a strap, so presumably someone at Smallrig thought about attaching it to a strap when they designed it. Was it not dangerous to use it because it cut into their hand? I was puzzled by this design choice. Why is there a point sticking out of the spot.
I love the cage I bought for my A6300. This grip is perfect and adds a certain robustness to the hand. This allows you to use two mics or flashes*, etc.
This is the best way to protect your camera, make it more versatile and make it more comfortable to hold and use. They also have a wood grip option if you prefer that. I have the silicone grip, but they also offer a wood grip option if you prefer that. It doesn't take up that much more room than the Sony travel case that it comes in. I've included screenshots of the device in the Sony case.
In every area I was going to add or I would like this product to provide, it checked all the boxes. As I have not used it to spill, I cannot attest to its characteristics as a case, however it has been well designed and is solidly constructed. The tool at the bottom makes it easy to adjust things on the fly, so I'm very grateful for it. Because I have larger hands, the extra grip and size were a big plus for me.
The cage was mainly ordered to protect my hands and improve grip and, well, it does its job very well. It has excellent quality, a nice finish and is perfect for my Sony A6400. There is nothing more that could be asked for. My sincere thanks go out to.
It's the same top quality from SmallRig as always.
