Selected User Reviews For Digital Tachometer PEAKMETER PM6612/PM6612L Optional Measurement Range 200,000 Lux High Exactness Digital Light Meter Luxmeter Low Battery Indication(PM6612)
It appears to be of higher quality construction than I had anticipated. Playing around with it, it appears to work well in the sense that higher intensities produce higher readings. I have no way of knowing if they're accurate, but I was just trying to compare the levels of ambient window light vs. when the lights are turned on. That sort of thing. My only issue is that, because the meter is very directional, I sometimes want to point it towards a light source (such as a window). The only way to read it is straight ahead. As a result, when I point it at the window, it is at an angle away from me, making it impossible for me to read the screen. This is when I noticed the value of the meters with the sensor attached by a cord, which would have been a better choice for me, but if fixed is acceptable to you, I strongly recommend this meter.
