I was wanting to use it for a 70-200mm lens cap. The lens has a focal length of 200mm. A perfect fit for the lens was achieved Although the lens was very tight in its case, putting it into it was no easy task. I have 24 years of experience Unlike the 70-mm lens, the 70mm lens did not feature a lens cap, and it had the same diameter as the 70-mm lens A 200mm lens. I ordered a side pinch cap for the 70-inch TV (which is thinner) This lens is a 200mm one, and it is used with a 24mm A 70mm lens. It all worked out just fine. It would definitely be a good idea to purchase a side pinch cap for 70-75 If you want to put the lens into the case that usually comes with it, you can use the 200mm lens.
The things I lose are few and far between. Despite this, the action at an auto race track can be quite hectic. Thus, as I was packing up, I found that I had lost my I'm just not too interested. Amazon was my first port of call. A cap was found that was the right one. The order has been placed. The two-day wait was over - my mailbox was full That's got to be awesome. There is a lot of great stuff coming from Canon. Lens caps are a simple example of these things. *Hot* *Hot* Recommend.
Then I discovered DSLR video. Prior to that, I didn't really pay much attention to lens caps. Even though many professional shooters prefer the speed of run and shoot over using lens caps, I like to protect thousands of dollars of lenses when they are Fortunately, I did, because a few months ago after a long trip, I came back in the middle of the night and woke up at 2 in the morning My camera bag was waiting for me in my room.
Canon should be proud that they are now using this style of cap on their lenses as they are much better than the old edge-mounted ones If the edge of the glass is scratched, it's worth replacing it, especially if there is any value in the glass. As a child, I always worried about dragging the old edge of the lens cap across the glass while using it Use lens hoods carefully, as they can pinch the lenses. Because you pinch and lift, you are able to eliminate that issue entirely. I think the only slight downside is that it is a bit thicker than the old style. You only have to spend $10 to complete the transaction!.
I appreciated the expedited shipping and the quality of the product as described. Some used the Canon image, but knock-offs of the ships were used. Despite orders from Canon from a couple of months ago, I canceled them because they were back ordered. For professional lenses with lens hoods, the pinch feature is a great feature.
A very good product, I would highly recommend it.
When you buy these Canon genuine lens caps, your photos will look better than ever. It is simply not possible to live without it. As an aside, let me say this. Keeping your camera in these bags will protect its most valuable parts. Take a sip from your Does it have to be this way? There is no. Is it possible for you to live without it? Yes, I understand. Are you more likely to put your lens caps back on your lenses when you are done using them? It's probably not going to happen. Old habits die hard (but are hard to break). Can you tell me if these products are Isn't Canon a world leader in imaging technology? *(and don't call it the thrifty fifty. )
FYI Lens caps made from these materials are thicker than those made from previous lenses. The thickness should be at least double. It's important to keep logistics in mind when packing a camera bag. There is a new thickness for the lens caps Approximately 42 inches total, in inches and fractions of an inch. The attachment measures about 3 inches when attached
As soon as I experienced how much better the accessories are, I splurged and purchased some for my other lens. It looks much more stylish now that my lenses look more luxurious I could just figure out the best way to dispose of.
As a bonus, center pinch caps make it easier to use I am happy Canon saw the light and decided to make these logo emblazon hats available to the public. The new caps are far better than the old OEM caps and work perfectly. At first, the Canon pinch mechanism is a little stiff and fussy to attach, but it loosens up after a couple of Having to replace all my Canon caps now is not convenient.
I have an original lens cap for my 24-70 mm A few months ago, my 105mmL lens got knocked off in a dark parking lot on a rainy night, and we couldn't find it. For the first time in my 6-plus years of owning various DSLR cameras/lenses, I lost a lens cap - no longer on my camera I have never before been permanently lost, but I was once temporarily misplaced! My concern was that of the quality and finish of an aftermarket lens cap. I was surprised at the price of genuine Canon replacement lenses pots, and I did some comparison shopping, but was leery of buying a third party cap. As a result of this I find that the screw-on type of cap appears to fit snugly with a noticeable click when properly attached, so I am less likely to knock it off if I bump the lens against My favorite lens fits perfectly on this, and it feels very well made.
