LETWING (as stated by Godox at the top of the page) was where I purchased mine. It was a grey market import, not an American version, that I received. This came as a huge disappointment to me. They are not an authorized seller in the United States, as I discovered later. That isn't mentioned in the ad. That information should've been made public. As a result, if you have a warranty issue, you will need to send it back to China for repair.
It does not use an AA or AAA battery, but rather a large lithium battery.
Is there a hotshoe mount included with the A5000? The answer is no if it doesn't.
You may be able to do it. I own an A7Rii, and I'm not sure there are that many differences between the II and III models.

Update: it broke. First and foremost, when compared to the brand names, this flash is a fantastic bargain. But, unless you're very careful with them, don't expect to have this for more than 5 or 10 years. br>br>The foot of the hot shoe is made of plastic and will break. I bought a light stand to shoe adaptor, the kind that pinches both sides of the shoe. (Another rant for another day: these adaptors should not be a standard. ) I could tell right away that any tightening would cause the shoe to bend and break. I've seen sites like ali express sell replacement parts for it (it's not that hard to replace the buttom, it has 4 screws)br>br>If you're just getting started with flash and need to learn while saving a buck, get it. I'd say it's a no-brainer and skip all the brand names if these units had metal hot shoes, but they don't. It's a pity you have to pay $500 for a flash with a brand name logo and a metal shoe for durability when all these things require is a simple metal replacement part. br>br>3 out of 5 stars Update. 0 out of 5 stars Even though the screen is on and the battery is fully charged, it has stopped flashing.
This light has been in my possession for over a year. It performs admirably in all circumstances. I've switched all of my name-brand flashes to Godox and have had no regrets. The li- I can get through an entire event or wedding on a single charge. It also looks great in a studio softbox. My previous AA-powered speedlights had much slower recycle times. And there will be no more fiddling with batteries! I've read that a plastic shoe can cause problems, but I have several of these and they're all still in great shape. br>br>Strongly suggested! br>br>.
This light is fantastic; it's essentially an all-in-one solution for a small production. This light is ideal for use as a main light, as well as a fill and back light. I appreciate being able to use a lithium battery instead of an AA battery. The flash seems to last forever, so shooting events has become much easier, and I don't have to bring as much battery. This flash is unrivaled in terms of power and light quality. Only the addition of a modeling light would make it a perfect complement to any professional photographer.
I've bought several Godox flashes in the past, including two TT860IIs (Li-ion). TT685s (AA), TT80 (Li-ion), TT685s (AA), TT685s (AA), TT685s (AA), TT685s ion). The flashes themselves are very good. The Li- First and foremost, lithium-ion batteries are fantastic; they recycle quickly and last all day. The cells inside the battery case, however, begin to swell after about a year. You will be unable to insert the batteries after this has occurred. out of the battery compartment of the flash This is also the case with the VB- I later purchased item 18 (Improved Battery). I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced something similar. 4 times! Unfortunately, LETWING was unable to assist me because the batteries were no longer under warranty.
I've fallen in love with it so far because it's powerful and versatile. High-speed synchronization is a godsend at this price point. So far, the battery life has been excellent. br>br>My only complaint is that it goes to sleep so frequently, and there's no way to change the timer. If the bulb is used frequently, it may heat up quickly and not turn on until it has cooled down significantly. br>br>All in all, it's well worth the money, especially at this price.
This speedlight will be an excellent addition to your Godox gear if you are a Godox user. I own three V860iis and have used them successfully in a number of photo shoots. When your focusing is off, you'll miss fires. Keep your xpro trigger at least a foot away from your speedlight when using it.
Although it is still new, I purchased it for my A7Riii and it has performed admirably in my testing. It's simple to program and doesn't take up a lot of space. Everything was exactly as described on the website. It's difficult to beat for the money!.
The flash was a hit with me. However, the shoe was made of plastic, and it was broken. Instead of dealing with it here in the United States, the distributor wanted me to ship it to China. Amazon stepped in and took its place. br>br>Many flashes have plastic feet, which break frequently. This is something that reviews can attest to. They could make it with a metal foot that would not break for a dollar.
