The intervalometer has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it works well. I had already broken it after using it a handful of times. I may have gotten a bad sample size, but it's still disappointing.

I was able to use it as a wired remote control. I am able to control my D200 more easily with the timer on the remote than with most wired remotes. There should be a version of this that includes some more features, such as "mirror up" (works with a wireless remote, but not a wire) and other trigger options, such as Lightning, Motion, etc. I would be willing to pay more for those features.

Whenever you want multiple time lapses, this is where to go. The timer is simple to use and easy to understand. After letting my camera settings sit for a bit, I realized it's about time I used the timer (I didn't use one in a while). By the way, just a little note The manual mode is on BULB, the shutter speed is on 100, and the focus is manual.

My old Sony A55 works like a charm with it. I have tested it twice with it. In spite of my configuration of my camera to save battery, I was surprised to find that the intervalometer turned it on to take the shot, so the battery lasts longer when it is turned off and not in use.
