Questions & Answers
This is not the case.
This should be the case if the camera has a 10 MP sensor This is a four-pin
In that case, it should fit as long as the connection on your camera has the 10 pin fitting.
To enter the exposure duration manually, you can hold down the button for the duration of the exposure or use an intervalometer remote that lets you enter the exposure duration by pressing the remote button.

In addition, I had some Yongnuo flash triggers with my previous setup. It has recently been discovered that they can also be used as shutter releases, but an interface cable would be required. In order to get a shutter release for my new D850, I needed to pay around $500 for the Nikon release. Thanks to these $10 triggers paired with the 10 cable, I saved tons of time both setting up and using the Yongnuo.
I took this picture with the MIOPS Splash Drop Photography Kit (see my review elsewhere) and the cable allowed me to take the picture, but the camera had to be placed fairly close to the water drop. When I move the camera even slightly, it causes the drop kit to become out of alignment and I have to retake the shot. It would have been better if I had purchased the longer cable, even though it was much.
I love it because it works great on it and it's a great price! I would say it was a good investment.
This is a perfect fit for the Nikon D850 and MIOPS.
I really like this.
There is no problem. I've done that.
Several of these are on my wish list to connect from an intervalometer to my Nikon D800 and D500. I was able to use those cables Easy to plug in and secure with a knurled screw, they're easily mounted to a digital camera.
This was just what I was looking for. Thank goodness for the cable, I would have had to buy a lot of things to replace my system.
