There was no problem with the cord until yesterday. We bought it four months ago and had no problem with it It simply stopped working for no apparent reason. When I first noticed this problem, I thought my computer was only being fussy, but I tried it on my husband's computer and it had the same problem. I got out the old USB cord (that was too short for practical use, which was the reason we bought this) and it worked just fine. I understand it's an inexpensive item but it's very disappointing to have it "go south" in such a short time period.

Because the description states it will work with the Nikon Coolpix L830, I ordered it. I requested a replacement as I received the cable and it did not appear to work. Furthermore, the second cable does not work as well. Whether either of these cables is bad or if this cable really cannot be used for this model is unknown to me. Anyhow, the cables have been returned to Nikon and I'll be going to get my real replacement cable there.

I had to wait hours for my pictures to download from my camera to my However, the photos were still on the camera and did not disappear from the laptop. My Nikon Coolpix B500 camera was supposed to function with it, but it didn't. My laptop has a SD card reader that I bought, which works fine. However, I have to remove the card from my camera every time I want to download pictures to my laptop, which takes longer.

When I wasn't looking it dropped to the ground and our puppy got it, he chewed on it. Having started to look for a new one, I found a few were incredibly expensive. This one comes in at a great price and works wonderfully. Due to my little puppy and for my own sake, I am much more careful when checking the floor around me.
