It is the same as OEM except it has a higher Mah rating. They are great batteries and chargers, which I use a lot.
There must have been a problem with one of the batteries. When I stepped up to charge the batteries, I think the first battery caused my charger to overheat. This Powerextra Canon Replacement LP-80 LP-83 is on order The charger and 2 batteries for the E10 battery are not included. I received a battery in my order that was unable to be charged. After contacting Powerextra Customer Service, I received a response asking for a copy of my invoice. They contacted me to let me know that I would be receiving a replacement invoice. This time, I received a replacement within a week, and it works just fine. In terms of the LCD display on the charger, I appreciate that it shows you what's happening. In addition to charging faster, it also works better than my original charger. Additionally, the batteries have a longer life expectancy since they have a higher amp hour rating. ***** is the rating I give this charger and battery. Now that I'm back in business, I'm back in action! The Powerextra team deserves praise for their excellent product and excellent customer service. * I hope this is of help to you. I appreciate you taking the time to read.
My Canon camera's backup batteries were purchased for this purpose. Since I got these in the mail, I have not even used the original battery. I intended to use these first before I use the cannon's original battery. The charging device comes with the option to connect to an electrical outlet with a cable OR to connect the charging cord that is tucked under the unit to charge the device using a USB socket. I would definitely buy these again once the battery has run out. Smart, easy to use, functional, and I would buy them again. Battery life is good, but you always want to make sure you triple check your batteries before you head out for a photo shoot.
Rather than for the batteries, I bought this for the charger, so the spare set of batteries is a welcome addition. I find the charger to be very easy to use and I think it charges As the batteries charge up, the LCD appears illuminated until the batteries are fully charged, at which point the charge status is retained, but the LCD illumination is removed. A micro USB port and cable are provided where an extra length is needed in addition to the fairly short built-in USB cable. If it is necessary, I will re-evaluate if the batteries last for a long period of time.
While I don't currently have the numbers, I believe that each of these batteries is about 50% higher in capacity than that of a Canon stock unit. In addition, you also need a charger that charges both batteries at the same time and shows the state of charge for both batteries at the same time. That's not a lot to ask to keep your camera happy with all those milliamps it consumes.
The utility and affordability of these non-electronic devices are both excellent It is a Canon battery. The fact that they hold charge as long as the original batteries and that the charger is nice is also a plus. I am happy with my.
The convenience of charging my camera batteries via usb with a portable power bank is a great travel feature. The camera bag is small enough that it can fit comfortably in my pocket. Furthermore, it comes with an extra set of batteries. During my two uses, I had no problems at all.
It is wonderful that the USB plug interface has been adopted instead of proprietary connections like OEM chargers. This charger will charge 2 batteries, you can easily see how much charge you have left, and it charges fast. A USB plug conveniently wraps around the base of the charger, so you only need a power block or laptop as a source of power.
