How big is this insert on the outside?

As it fits in the bottom of a 920 case, the bottom divider measures 14 1/2 x 10 1/4 x 4 inches. It's made up of fabric-covered foam pieces with velcro fastenings on the four "vertical" corners, making it quite conformable. The lid's eggshell foam measures 14 1/2 x 10 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches (to the thickest portion of the "egg crate mounds"). As shown in the illustration, the main inner dividers cross the long dimension, and all of the small divider sections are the same size, limiting configuration. You can't make a pocket that runs from front to back. I hope this has been of assistance.
