Questions & Answers

How well does this work?

That's the truth to be honest! With multiple EF lenses both Tamron and Canon, I have used it without any problems, the only one I had issues with was a Tokina lens with no AF, but it worked just fine with it on my friend's Sony camera. You will be fine as long as you update whenever updates are available.

Its only for Canon EF or does it work with Sigma EF and Canon EF ?

On the Canon mount, I can also use my Sigma lenses. I am very satisfied with the results. It was a great decision.

Is it correct that if this is used on a full-frame, there is no cropping?

If you use it with a Full frame lens on a Full frame body, for instance the a7lll along with a 24-70mm lens, the image will not crop This Canon 105 L camera is worth looking at

Will I be able to manually control the iris when I use Sony FS7?

There are certain lenses that don't work with this

Selected User Reviews For Sigma MC-11 Lens Mount Converter (Canon EF to Sony E-Mount) with 32GB SD Card

It is perfect for Canon lenses without deteriorating the optical quality of the lens
5/5

The reason I am well known is because I'm I have reviewed many tech and imaging products and am a known professional. The mirrorless cameras from Sony are fantastic, as you will already know if you are reading this review. You are most likely searching for ways to utilize the excellent Canon glass with the Sony system, just like me. As a whole, the Sigma MC-33 provides The solution offered by 11 is terrific. Be aware, though, that it does not work like a miracle BLUE PAPER PROS It does not affect optical quality at all. It's easy to use and a great build quality. It's a fair price, and most Canon EF or other lenses can focus and track well based on their focusing speed. PERSONAL CONS There are some lenses that are outliers, so make sure your firmware is up to date. It has a tendency to be lighter than most other lenses, so you may prefer Sony lenses. There is a problem with the MC - Adding 4 to 11 increases by The lens added 4 ounces to its The following observations and tests have been conducted The Canon lenses I had for my 61 megapixel Canon A7R IV were thoroughly tested using the Sony A7R IV with my high end Canon lenses. It is impossible for a camera with this type of truly incredible resolution to be as sharp as what it will be at this pixel level. However, in most cases, minor differences in lens quality are not as of importance as what follows The lenses I have from Canon are outstanding. There is almost no case where Sony lenses are inferior to its rivals. In that case, you might want to switch to Sony lenses sooner rather than later if you use a camera with a crazy high resolution, like the A7R IV. While Canon lenses focus well, fast tracking for sports and nature is a bit behind that of native Sony lenses due to the different way focus is measured. In terms of speed and tracking, Sigmas and Tamrons designed for Sony can also compete with Canon lenses. In my testing I used 16- and 18-mm Canon EF lenses The 35 f2 is a digital SLR camera. I'm talking about 8, 16 and 17 I have a 35 f4 and a 24 mm The 70 f4, the The 200 f2 is a digital SLR. The 8, 70, and 80 The camera is a 200f4 with a 24 IS, 300f4 IS, and a first. The difference is four times the time. Every single one of them did an exceptional My wonderful 70-year-old bicycle is something that I've been considering hanging onto for a long time Two Canon lenses for use with the MC-200 and MC-300 In terms of light weight and pro performance, Sony does not yet have the perfect fit for me in terms of those focal lengths. Among the Canon 100s, I only regretted buying the lens 100 f2 instead of the otherwise excellent model. The macro is on page 8. With the MC-I it was not very good in terms of focus and performance The conclusion is I have not yet tested the product from Metabones, but the price is great compared to the competitors. It is not necessary for me to do so. There are three Sigma MCs available The Sony system 11 looks great when combined with Canon lenses and Sony bodies, has a build quality like no other, and is the perfect bridge for me to use Sony instead of my old friend The end of this long review is hoped to have been of some small help to you. I hope you have a good shooting season!.

The equipment I use on the A7iii includes all Canon EF lenses
4/5

Despite the LED light not lighting up (which is what I expected from this product), the adapter does the job as advertised. It seems that my lenses are focusing fine even on autofocus I have tested it on Canon EF 40mm, EF 75-200mm and EF 150-600mm Its focal length is 300 mm, and its lens length is 50mm. I was able to get focus on all of them, and the later will do Eye Autofocus as well. The best thing about this is the 75-foot yacht Using a 300 benefits from a body with IBIS, so shooting at slow speeds handheld is far more comfortable than using a Canon. In low light, it was difficult to see. There is some hunting to focus with older lenses, but the recent 50mm lens 1 is very precise. The focus of 8 was very fast and spot on. Moreover, I would like to point out that to update your Firmware, you will need to purchase a dock and that needs to be purchased as a separate item. This information would have been helpful if I had known it beforehand. It appears that the rest of the free items in the pack are good enough, and all were delivered well packed and in amazing condition. The last few EF-types I have are still in my possession Originally, I wanted to try out the S lenses, but I wanted to try the Full Frame lenses first, and they worked better than I had There is a design flaw which I am removing one star because of. Update the firmware on the adaptor by connecting to a port. A plastic cover provides protection for this port, which is located on the right side of the adaptor. The cameras' grips are in a place that is already tight next to both of them. You will constantly be rubbing your fingers against the plastic that covers the port as you use it.

There's no other way to describe it
5/5

You should update the firmware on your device. surprised by the device's performance because I had not expected it to be so high. I have adapted my Canon lenses to my Sony A7iii and they Several of my 70-year-old friends were born in the 70s Sony's autofocus is faster and more precise than the 85-1, and the 200 is sharper. The weight of 4 GMs. Sigma 35 behaves the same as the native EF mount version, with the exception of focusing noise, and even my Canon lenses that can't be used with Sigma 35 have full AF support, With a price of $149 it is a no-brainer. At $249 a must have, but at $149 it's an absolute steal. Thanks to people switching to mirrorless cameras, you can get Canon lenses for a great discount now. Take advantage of this great opportunity to get some amazing glasses!.

My decision has been made
5/5

I switched from Canon to Sony mirrorless last week. There were several concerns I had regarding the switch because of all the Canon and Canon related equipment Glass I own is a Sigma. As the cost of purchasing the Sigma MC-100 would be considerably less than the cost of buying the Canon I can test my glass myself at 11 and let you know what I find. The $150 I'll lose is better than the $150 I gain. I would rather lose a few hundred dollars in new glass than several thousand. They all worked perfectly when I tested them. Results of test There are three Sigma 85mm, 50mm, and 20mm (Art) lenses. This was tested The Canon 100mm f/2. 4L II, 24-105 A 70Mll, a It contains 200 milliliters and 100 milliliters A 400Mll file. Besides updating, I didn't have to do anything else. I'm glad I jumped at the opportunity! There is no comparison to the Sony A7ll.

If you buy it at $149, it is a good deal
5/5

Although I initially bought it as a gift, I was very happy to find out it works perfectly on the Sony A6000 with a Canon 24-75mm f/2 The lens I gave him was a 105mm. It is as expected that AF and IS work well, but may be a bit slow in comparison to a The A6000 camera, however, ended up being returned since the body is quite small, and when the adapter was mounted, and the Canon lens mounted, he found the whole setup to be quite unwieldy. It would work better with an A7 Full Frame body with a grip to help with balancing the lens. With a sale price of $149, I think it was an excellent deal.

Using auto focus is a terrible idea
3/5

While the auto focus works, it is very slow and misses the mark most of the time, even in good lighting. I would estimate that only one out of fifteen times the auto focus is correct. Image stabilization is satisfactory. It seems that Canon lenses do fit, but they wiggle around in the MC11, which is a bit disappointing. My metabones would have been four times as expensive if I'd spent four times as much on them. In a similar way to communism, sigma also works.

This is a very well-made product
5/5

Sigma makes this filter for certain (but not all) Sigma lenses and some other specific brands. The number of eight is 70. mm) and getting good focus control mounted on Sony a6000 series cameras (a6000, 6300, The reason I buy Sigma lenses with Canon EF mount is because I switch to Sony mirrorless systems some time ago. That way, I can use Canon, Sigma and Sony lenses as I see fit. This has proved to be a very successful method for me The price of this 11 mount is the best I could find anywhere, and Amazon delivered it right away and was easy to work with when there was.
