Product Description

Included in this bundle is Sigma's 150-600mm f/5-6 lens.
This lens offers updated Sigma technology including a quiet and optimized Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) with an Optical Stabilizer (OS) with an accelerometer which allows better panning imagery both vertically and horizontally, essential for bird watching, wildlife and automobile photography.
Sigma's contemporary lens is equipped with an optical image stabilizer so you never have to miss that perfect shot. It uses a built-in mechanism that compensates for camera shake when it performs optical stabilization. The setup greatly enhances photographic possibilities by alleviating the movement of the camera when shooting with a hand-held
Autofocus as quiet as possible The Hyper Sonic Motor lenses employ a motor that uses ultrasonic waves to produce a fast, yet quiet autofocus. With this camera, you can shoot in a variety of conditions with exceptionally low noise
This glass has a FLD element, which stands for F Low Dispersion because it is constructed from a material of the same performance level as In order to get maximum chromatic correction from this specially engineered optical element, the optic element has been specially engineered. Because it has a lower density than traditional glass, it can be designed in a lighter and more efficient way than traditional glass.

What is the compatibility of this product with my D7000?

It is true. In order to make Sigma fit your Nikon, it must be fitted. This applies to all Nikons (except the

The Nikon D3500 can I use with this?

My Canon camera was the one I bought. It is probably compatible with your Nikon if you buy the Nikon mount version of the D3500, because the D3500 is not a mirrorless camera. There may be a chance it will also fit Nikon mirrorless cameras, but I don't know if it is an entirely different mount than used for Nikon DSLRs.

A Nikon D5600 is what I assume it to be
3/5

You can get the Nikon D5300 if you get it The lens is an adapted version, so it should be fine. I use a Nikon D500, so you should have no problem with yours.

Beware of the accessories if you get this lens! First, let me say the Sigma 150-mm F2
5/5

8 is one of the best In my experience, the 600mm (Contemporary) lens is an excellent lens for a good price. If you are looking at this bundle, it is likely you already know about that lens, so I'll save it for last. I am getting a backpack for this lens for a reasonable price. Despite the fact that the straps feel weak, and that the bag's body isn't long enough to hold a lens and a body attached, the bag is not sturdy. I can see no problem with the zippers. This is a great starter camera bag for a D5100 and kit lens as you can carry both a lens and the camera, but not for my D500 and an $800 lens (even if it fits). I am not happy with the tapered top of the bag, which does not allow the camera body a proper fit (it is a DX sensor camera and not a full frame one which would be taller).

- I am very disappointed in the UV filter that comes with this lens - it is cheap but it is not good. It can be dangerous - avoid using it You should throw it away if you do not want to keep it. It caused all of the images I took to be blurry when using this filter. In the case of a circular polarizer, my hopes are low. **** - Despite the fact that it is cheap, the monopod actually isn't all that The monopod is just a simple device. There's not much you can do wrong with a telescopic If you don't have one, if you don't have one, this is probably what you need. Despite its weight, it is difficult to hold this lens up for prolonged periods without some support after a few minutes of holding it. **** - The bundle is priced at USD 00, so you are getting value for money). **** - As of now, nothing has gone wrong with the SD cards. It wouldn't suffice for me to use them for a professional shoot (like a wedding) just because I have a paranoia about that, but they are quick and okay for someone who doesn't have a lot of I now present to you As far as this lens goes, it performs as advertised (AFTER you make sure that the damn UV filter is not in use). All of the reviews I've seen suggest that the sport edition of the lens has nearly the same performance characteristics as the standard version, but it's more durable (and possibly more weatherproof). Buying the sport version of this lens is a good idea if you're going to use it frequently. I think the contemporary could work for you if you are generally careful with your equipment, dont shoot in heavy rain or snow, and don't smash your lenses into things all the time. I am simply not going to figure out for you what you should do. Having said that, you might be able to do all that stuff. In my case on a DX sensor (in my case on a d500) 600mm is a long focal length. If you want to get good shots at shutter speeds under 1/1000 of a second, you will need to practice a lot, while longer shutter speeds are harder to maintain. Shooting in low light conditions (just after sunset, on cloudy days, etc. ) takes practice. The VR on this lens is good, though you should get to know the different settings well to avoid accidentally choosing a setting that won't allow you to get sharp images in certain circumstances. I find that 600mm is VERY NARROW if you are trying to track moving objects. The little scope I have attached to my camera helps me track fast moving subjects because at 600mm and you are looking down the barrel or what I call the barrel of this, you have major issues finding your subject in the tiny sliver of field of view you get at 600mm. There is nothing quite as specific about this lens as it may seem. In general, this is an important consideration for telephoto lenses. As usual, there are a lot of articles and reviews of this lens on the web written by people more qualified than I am. The bundle I selected after all the research I did met all my expectations, but I wish I had the sense to realize many of the extras in it were unnecessary.

For the price, this is a great lens
5/5

It is a very sharp lens that helps my photos have more clarity. When a picture is cropped and viewed at a distance, it remains It may look a little off in my blue jay photo, but that is because I was trying to focus. Having a zoom for wildlife photography is perfect for what I do. I am very satisfied with this camera for the price. Using a tripod is the best way to use it because it is a little heavy. That bag that came with it surprised me, as I really like Besides my lens, camera, and two smaller lenses, the bag can hold all of them. As for the polarizing filter, I have not used it yet, but the skylight filter didn't go well with me. There was a noticeable decrease in the quality of the Since I haven't used the dock yet, I can't comment. The camera used for this video is a Nikon D5500. I highly recommend this lens for its low.

The D5300 is great with it because it's heavy
4/5

It is a really good value for this package. It is probably enough to cover the difference with filters alone. Adding Sigma Dock to the package is a great addition. Lenses such as these do not come with telephoto functions, so you will need a monopod at least to use it. The focusing is very fast and silent.

There were some grey particles on the body of the lens and there were some marks on the lens box. There is no way for us to pinpoint whether the product came in that way from the factory, or is actually used. As for the glass itself, it appears to be in good condition, so we'll see how it performs over time.

Photo automatically focuses on the moon when it is pointed at it.

I am in love with Having used this lens for about a week, I'm becoming more and more enamored with it
5/5

Though using a long lens is definitely an acquired skill, it is definitely worth the effort. A similar view was expressed by another reviewer when he complained about the filters. There is no way to utilize the Vivitar UV. Other than that, I haven't tried any of them. There is a good value in this dock, and the software and process appear to be easy to use. The slate junco and blue jay photographs were taken about a week apart in time. The slate junco was taking the UV filter photo at about 26 feet away from the camera. The blue jay was taking the UV filter photo at about 35 feet away. There is a major difference that I am not sure is apparent here. In low light, the ISO setting is higher and introduces artifacts, so it is more difficult to take a good photo. Light is more important than anything else when it comes to taking a picture. f6 at 600mm for a shallow depth of field. Open up to f8 or better for 3 because it is razor thin. Better lighting again, so on and so forth. In my case, I used a Nikon.

You don't have to be shy, get a little closer
5/5

A wife and I bought it to pair with our It has been used a few times so far this winter, and I will use it more in the Despite my experience, I do not consider myself a professional. My P900 was bought last June, but I only started taking photographs last month. So take my review with a grain of salt since I am just learning how to shoot in manual. I find it to be a good deal for less than a grand for someone who loves the sun. Even though I'm now using an Olympus E-PL2, I can never replace the zoom of the original Nikon P900m, but you do get an impressive To serve as references, I am adding a couple photos I took.

I like it a lot! The exact same lens model I will be purchasing is the one I rented from a local camera shop before purchasing it
3/5

We were able to achieve great results! It was possible for me to see an entire lighthouse at 3 miles distance! The atmospheric distortion at that distance caused the image to be less clear. Even when it was only one mile away from its intended target, a different lighthouse on an island restricted to a few people, it performed flawlessly. I'm so glad to have this lens in my collection and I love it so much.
