Selected User Reviews For Apple TV Remote
As a consumer I tend to read negative reviews about products before purchasing them, and I was pretty skeptical about replacing a remote for an older Apple TV. Since mine is so old, I had no idea whether or not it was a first-generation droid. We received the item within a few days, took it out of the package (which ended up being the most challenging part of the whole replacement process), pointed it at the TV, and it worked wonderfully. In my opinion, people who write the bad reviews don't realize their problems may go beyond the remote. I believe they are unaware that there might be something wrong with their systems. As a result, if you have an older generation Apple TV, this is the easiest option to replace it. To protect this, I am following the advice of the reviewer who suggested putting it inside a sandwich bag the size of a snack. It is an amazing.
There was an aluminum remote before and this is a similar model. In any case, neither it would pair, nor would it work. A picture of the directions from Apple came to my rescue. I held down the left arrow for six seconds and the menu key for 100 seconds and it suddenly.
After that, it worked fine, but then the button was stuck in the down position after it dried. As a result, the remote was no longer usable. My remote for the Apple TV was so old and out of date that I searched online to see if it was still available. I happened upon this remote! It was extremely cheap for an Apple product, and since when is any Apple product this cheap? I bought it thinking it was some cheap knockoff item. My amazon package came in the mail after a few days of setup so I reluctantly opened it to see what it looked like and how difficult My pair was complete in less than 6 seconds after reading the instructions from Apple, and it works quite well! You should BUY THIS remote if you are looking for an old remote!.
It seems to be designed to fail after the first few weeks. This has required me to purchase six over the past year. For the most part, these work great for a short period of time before they stop working (usually the left button). The thought of purchasing another one does not appeal to me anymore. Alternatives are being considered.
It really isn't very useful to us. We have the HD 1080 Apple TV first generation. Initially believed it was broken, as it had been sitting for years. However, when I looked at it, I found it was the remote control. Because it was so cheap on sale, I had little expectation of a better product. The package was sealed in the original packaging and contained OME Apple merchandise. All you have to do is point at Apple TV to get it to work. The remote looks exactly like your old aluminum remote and it is a great price at I am very satisfied.
It is a smart idea for Apple to make these so small that they can be lost or easily carried away by children's fingers. To charge two and a half times the price of Apple TV for the remote is a racket. They must have one in order to work, though. We recommend that once you get a replacement, you sync your phone so that you do not need to replace it again.
EVER since Gen 4 came out, I have really had a problem with the stupid "track pad" remote. I was able to connect this perfectly to my Apple TV and it was automatically recognized. I no longer feel frustrated. This is a genuine Apple product, and it is super-cheap as well.
There is nothing more or less to say, it's simply the Apple Remote. This is the Apple remote you need if you need one. As a result of the pairing issue, I had to reset my AppleTV in order to get this remote to work (which I blame on the 1st gen AppleTV since little had to change with the remote in order to make it.
