Both male ends, as shown in the photo, are hdmi to hdmi. br>br>The item was/is described correctly.
It should, but these cables caused major problems for both my PS3 and PS4. The picture would go black and then come back, as if the HDMI cable had been disconnected. With my PS3, it happened every ten seconds, and with my PS4, it happened every half second. I tested my consoles with some older, but beefier, HDMI cables, and they worked perfectly (picture never failed), indicating that these cables aren't capable of performing correctly for whatever reason. Unfortunately, I would suggest looking into an alternative brand; thus, in my experience, these would NOT work for your goal of connecting your so-called "disconnected" devices. to your TV with the "PS$" console.
It'll almost certainly happen. However, I only used it with my BluRay player. For me, it works perfectly.
It's possible that it won't work because this cable only supports HDCP v1. I hope this information is useful.

It's an HDMI cable that does a great job for the purpose I bought it for; I don't know how it performs in 4K because I don't own any 4K displays, but it'll suffice for 1080p. In situations where you need a long cord, this is a good option.
I bought this cable so I could put my Nintendo Switch on the side table of my gaming room because the original cable was too short, and to my surprise, the picture quality on my Samsung KS8000 4K TV improved significantly with this cable; I have a KS8000 Samsung 4K TV, and I must say that the picture quality on my Switch has greatly improved with this cable; I'm getting a better and softer picture with this cable, much better than the original, which is not very good for a 4K TV. If you own a Nintendo Switch and a 4K television, this cable is a must-have.
This cable has exceeded my expectations. I bought it because of the good reviews, low price, and slim profile, and I used it to run a cable through an air duct behind a wall in my house. br>br>I'd be lying if I said I wasn't sweating a little after running the cable for hours, but it all worked out perfectly! This is what I use to connect my gaming PC to my 4K HDTV, and it outputs a perfect 4k/60hz signal. There are no issues! br>br>NEW ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - I'm going to have to revise my opinion of this cable completely. I started seeing occasional cutouts with 4K/60hz material shortly after finishing this review. Since then, the cutouts have gotten worse, to the point where my picture now cuts out every couple of seconds, rendering the cable useless. I'm downgrading my rating to one star because the cable doesn't seem to work as advertised.
One of these was used to connect a DirecTV receiver to the wall. I had a 15ft cable installed because a 10ft cable was a little too short for my wall-mounted TV, and I was having intermittent problems with the picture dropping out as soon as I installed it. The picture came and went when I jiggled the cable connector on one end. Re- The problem reappeared after I seated the cable on both ends. I ended up switching to a different brand of cable and haven't had any issues since. br>br>Also, the diameter of these Fosmon cables is extremely small - 4 approximately In comparison to other cables I own, which are around 6mm thick, this one is only 5mm thick. 5 mm and 7 mm 5mm. This indicates that the internal copper wires are of a very small gauge, and/or that the shielding is minimal. They're most likely better suited to 3ft-tall people. Particularly for 4K TVs, a 6ft length is preferable to a 15ft length. That is, assuming the connectors function properly. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: Although I only unpacked the cable this week, Amazon says my "return window" has closed because I purchased a pair in September. So, if you're willing to take a chance and buy these cables, make sure you test them right away, including jiggling the connectors. My next step will probably be to see if there is a warranty.
The price is unbeatable. br>I would purchase again if I needed another.
The one star represents the amount of time spent attempting to solve a problem. This cable was not functioning properly. I have another cable that still works with my devices, so I'm pretty sure this one is broken, but I can't return it. Nowhere in the description does it mention this. The manufacturer's website mentions a lifetime warranty, but it also states that the consumer is responsible for return shipping. I don't doubt that this product works most of the time based on the reviews, but if you get a defective unit, you're pretty much on your own; it's not worth the risk and time when there are so many other options.
My old Sony lcd 1080p television was finally replaced by a new Samsung 4K qled television. I beat my head against the wall for a while, trying to figure out why I couldn't get a picture over hdmi when connecting my yamaha receiver to my new qled 4k tv. When I tried connecting a few devices directly, some of them would show a picture at (nvidia shield dropped down to the maximum 720p resolution). Finally, I tried a short hdmi cable that came with my 4k monitor and it worked perfectly, indicating that the "4k arc" cable was to blame. br>br>I'm currently replacing all of my living room's hdmi cables with Amazon Basics.
The Fosmon 4K HDMI Cable 25 FT does exactly what it says on the tin. The image quality is superb. br>br>The hose does not lay flat, which is a minor issue. It curls up, so be careful not to get tangled in the cord, but that wouldn't be an issue if you pulled it straight and tacked it down like you're supposed to, which I didn't. So it's not the cords that's the issue, but me. br>br>Just thought I'd throw this in there for good measure. Someone else might find this information useful. Aside from that, I'm not having any issues with the cable. br>br>If I needed to, I would buy it again.
