Not all Panasonic phones are the same
3/5

Model KX- is the one I have. Panasonic TGA680 Cordless Phone Panasonic TGA680 Cordless Phone Panasonic Cordless Phone Panasonic Cordless Phone Panasonic I put the batteries in, but not the cordless phone, in the charging cradle, and the phone displays a message that says "Use Rechargeable Batteries. " So I just spent $14 on these and Amazon tells me I can't return them. Lovely. As a result, I visited the Panasonic. factoryoutletstore is a store that sells factory outlet items. com, where I paid $30 for a four-pack of original batteries. Learn from your mistakes, and don't be fooled by advertisements that claim "these batteries work in almost all Panasonic cordless phones. ".

Batteries that aren't genuine
3/5

These have to be fake knock-offs. offs. Panasonic would never allow such batteries to enter the market, I can't believe it. Although the Amazon ad claims 700 mAhr, the battery actually states Min 630 mHhr. They came in clear plastic packaging with no Panasonic branding other than what was printed on the batteries themselves. When you put them in the phone, it says "charge for 7 hours" as it always does. The phone eventually says "Use Rechargeable Batteries" after a period of time, and the batteries charge to the top of the indicator, but they run out quickly (about 45 minutes on a speakerphone conference call). I've tried a few different batteries from the set, and they all give the same result; I never had this problem with the original batteries, which lasted 5 years and only started to wear out a little after that. br>br>Please accept my apologies for not reading the user reviews - This complaint has been made by a number of people in the last few months. But what could possibly go wrong, I reasoned - They're Panasonic batteries meant to be used in Panasonic phones. They're also for sale on Amazon.

Effort, time, and money have all been wasted
3/5

The fact that the product description claims that it will work with your specific model phone, as so many others have pointed out, is no guarantee that it will. I get the message to use rechargeable batteries, but the batteries will not charge or hold a charge. The batteries are Panasonic, but this hasn't been a Panasonic experience, so they're being returned. Save yourself the aggravation and look for a replacement battery - as well as the supplier?.

Junk - Purchase is not recommended
3/5

I used these rechargeable batteries to replace aging (8 year) batteries in four of five Panasonic handsets. Two phones refused to charge and displayed the message "Use rechargeable batteries" on the screen. The other two handsets began to display the same error message after a month. (Using a scientific approach, I replaced the batteries in all of the phones, narrowing the problem down to a battery issue rather than a handset issue. ) These appear to be knockoffs. I am extremely dissatisfied, and I intend to pursue a refund.

We were able to bring our phones back to life! After a few years of use, the batteries in my family's house phones finally died
5/5

It had gotten to the point where you couldn't even pick up the phone without it dying. Rather than buying all new phones, I considered simply replacing the batteries. I bought these and installed them in my phones, and they work perfectly. You can take the phone off the hook and carry it around the house without having to worry about the batteries running out. They were a much better buy than buying new phones all over the house because they were so cheap.

These are not genuine Panasonic products, in my opinion
3/5

With my "real" Panasonic batteries, I could go days without charging my phones. If you don't return them to the cradle every night, their screens will become blank. I've been an exclusive user of Panasonic cordless for years and have never had these types of battery issues; however, thanks to cell phone usage, I now use my cordless phones less than ever, and I can't even rely on these for the occasional call coming in. I'm convinced I've been duped.

They're simply awful
3/5

These Panasonic batteries were purchased for our three Panasonic telephone handsets because they are identical to the ones that came with the product and have lasted for years. I replaced the original batteries with Duracells, which were supposed to last five years but only lasted about two. These Panasonics, on the other hand, are completely inoperable. The handset'said' it had 'charged' for even 24 hours. "Do not use this battery," says the narrator. I initially assumed it was a faulty handset or charger, but after trying several others, I discovered it was the batteries. They're simply awful. I was ripped off because I missed the return window at the time. Now . Where should I shop and what should I buy?.

I was let down
3/5

Only four of the eight batteries received were functional! Very let down. On two phones, I kept getting messages telling me that I needed to use rechargeable batteries! I was dissatisfied because I had thrown away the original batteries when I replaced them with new ones. I didn't need to replace the old batteries because they were still functional. I hope your results are better.
